I rather we keep young players and hope they develop fast. Do hope we get replace dead weight on the bench like edwards and water with solid vets

If we can get Jerami Grant, then I'm all for it. He is EXACTLY what the Celtics need IMO

A person who can play SF/PF so they can be switchable on defense and still spread the floor with shooting

Out of all the guys talked about, I like Barnes the best. Whoever comes here will be the 4th option and maybe get 10 to 12 shots a game. Might even be 5th option some nights cuz Marcus like to take silly shots instead of pass. Vucevic will be glorified Kanter status on this team. Will only get 10 shots and play mediocre defense. Embiid will abuse him and have him in foul trouble and our depth would be depleted. Pistons would want more for Grant, but he's your typical good stats on terrible team guy. Grant went to Detroit to have a bigger role, don't think he'd like to go back to his Denver role. Barnes is more efficient, shoots a better percentage, has championship experience, would be more willing to accept his role, and I think would take less to acquire.

I just don't want Time Lord's development to be effected.

This is why I think Jerami Grant for Kemba would be the best for the Celtics

Use the extra money with Kemba's contract to bolster the bench

Have a lineup of

1 - Pritchard
2 - Brown
3 - Tatum
4 - Grant
5 - Time Lord

I think that lineup makes the Celtics a legit contender

I just hope Harrison Barnes doesn't make the Celtics lose all of their future assets

He's not as good as either Grant or Vucevic. But maybe thats what the Celtics need anyway, if they plan to keep Kemba and want to make Barnes the 4th option

And side note. I just don't think Kemba fits on the team. It seems like whenever Kemba has a great game, Tatum and Brown suffer

Not that this is new news, but kings and grizzlies outplaying their draft projection really screwed the C's. I'm a romeo supporter but imagine Deandre hunter or rui as the third wing instead

The more and more the season goes on, the more I realize we really don't need a an All star Center to be honest... With Kemba, and the 2 Jays, whats the point? They will be a 4th option and will see their number diminish
I'm fine with Time Lord being the center for the future, and at best a center of Steve Adams talent level

What we really need is a SF/PF combo that can score and is a great playmaker. That will literally answer all of the Celtics' problems IMO

Y’all top heavy. I looked at y’all and see the need for more depth......

kind of hard to look at Stevens system and pinpoint one big need y’all need but depth is clearly an issue...a stretch 4/5 seems necessary.

should go after John Collins
