Danny’s pick luck ran out and while I don’t think he made bad picks, having to damn near exclusively rely on his drafts is killing a team with a win now window. That kind of strategy is commendable for an undesirable market, but unless you’re cashing in those picks for something better it limits you unless you hit every time and he hasn’t.

Averaging roughly 23/5/4 on good efficiency in his last 9 games, with the Celtics being 6-3 in that stretch

I'm always weary of guys who have great stats on awful teams. If we get Vucevic his shot attempts will be cut in half. Is he even good on defense?

I don't want Vuc unless we're giving up Theis and/or Thompson, we already have enough bigs as is. I'm also a bigger fan of Aaron Gordon, he's def a better fit, and I feel like he's out of sight and out of mind for folks cuz of his injury, he would really help us IMO, imagine him and Time Lord on fast breaks

I don't think we're getting Grant or Vuc, we'll probably end up scooping Bjelica and Terrence Ross this season, and saving the rest of the TPE for the offseason.

Problem with the Celtics is we don’t really have much to trade

They’re not moving Tatum/Brown/Kemba/Smart and Ainge’s “war chest” of picks is gone. The only assets we have are Time Lord and Pritchard. I don’t think Langford or Nesmith have value like that
