My point is for that contract and his unwillingness to play the 4th option, I'm glad he's gone

Barnes and Gordon are better for the Celtics. Gordon in theory is a better player, but have we seen it in his 3 years with the Celtics? Thats a hell no :mjlol:

I don't care about his stats were on the Utah Jazz or that he made 1 all star team. He's soft, injury prone, overrated defender, etc. I'm so happy he's gone :blessed:

Grant, Gordon, and Barnes have all been more productive in the past 3 years than Gordon Hayward has

They haven’t really.

You didn’t like Hayward’s untimely injuries or his contract, that’s fine. But let’s not be delusional. Harrison Barnes & Aaron Gordon have never been better basketball players than him.

I've noticed a lot of Celtic fans love Centers that can hit an occasional jump shot. But don't care if a Center can box out, rebound, contest/block shots. :hhh: The love that Theis gets boggles my mind. Besides, if we match up with the Sixers, you are gonna need 3 Centers and 18 fouls to throw at Embiid. If we trade one of our bigs, fans are gonna start crying when Grant or Semi get minutes at the Center position.

I'm fully prepared for this team to either do nothing at all or make a lateral move at the deadline :manny:

And Celtics wanna keep this fakkit on the team :mjcry:

"bu bu but, he's a good jump shooter dood" :russ:

Seriously though, Id keep him as the third Center and maybe play 8 minutes a game. Celtic writers are creating a narrative that we have a logjam at Center, but won't mention all the short point guards we have on the roster. Ainge loves them short guards and has passed up on numerous athletic bigs in past drafts. I'm seeing this kid Claxton on brooklyn show promise and I'm like :snoop: Ainge passed him up.

Breh its like we living in a upside down world where people actually think Thies is an amazing player. He can not guard any true center. I repeat, HE CAN NOT GUARD ANY TRUE CENTER
Plus even at the PF position, he is average at best on defense. The only advantage he has is when the opposing team goes super small and he can get the rebounds and alley oops

Not saying TT is some world beater. But he's actually competent at playing center. He's an amazing offensive rebounder, and gives you about 6 points per game. Thats what you want out of a decent center. Celtics already have Tatum, Brown, Kemba, Smart, etc to score the points, so I don't get the need for a Center to be some offensive genius

Have Time Lord start, and TT come off the bench. Is it really that hard? :why:

This team is going out 1st round. Horrible 4th quarter team, no depth, shytty coaching, no real flow to the offense just Tatum/Brown/Kemba taking turns isoing with Smart bricks mixed in.

Getting all the players healthy was not going to save this season and they’re highly unlikely the Hayward TPE to make a trade at the deadline because Wyc doesn’t want to pay the luxury tax.

This team is exactly what the record says they are.
