Don’t have the assets to get Collins :manny:
Y’all have all our your future draft picks last time I checked..: I guess it depends on how much you willing to give up. . He’s worth two late draft picks(what y’all picks project to be) Celtic not getting anymore lottery picks in their own.

Okc proposed a frp from y’all for Grant before they accepted Denver’s and y’all straight turned it down. Y’all have assets. Ainge jsut undervalues anything that he doesn’t draft or picks

My thinking is another team can offer something better than Grant Williams and one or two picks in the 20s

You underestimate the value of multiple draft picks.

I think Kemba becomes expendable when you add another score first option like Collins . I know with Stevens system it undermines the necessity for a pure passing type like CP3 but y’all really lack a floor general: some nba head said it best when they said Boston had great individual talent but their best players exceed at making themselves better and not their teammates. Y’all lack the glue guy. That’s what y’all lost when you let Hayward leave. I thought that’s what Brown(and Rozier) were developing into initially but they started become more self-sufficient and oriented at getting their own shots up.

Celtics should think long and hard about kemba and a frp for Rondo and Collins .

seriously, Brown seen a lot more versatile a few years back.

By Smith, I’m assuming you mean Collins

I didn’t say the picks have no value. I’m saying if the Hawks make him available, I’m pretty confident they will get a better deal than what the Celtics can offer

The Hawks have zero incentive to trade for Kemba. Literally none. A pick in the 20s is not valuable enough to justify them paying $35 million until 2023 for a backup PG.

Hayward was not coming back to the Celtics regardless because he didn’t want to be a 3rd or 4th option

Y’all top heavy. I looked at y’all and see the need for more depth......

kind of hard to look at Stevens system and pinpoint one big need y’all need but depth is clearly an issue...a stretch 4/5 seems necessary.

should go after John Collins

Nah John Collins sucks

I rather Harrison Barnes, Aaron Gordon, or Jerami Grant

They should go all in on these types of players

I'm happy Gordon Hayward left

He's injury prone and WAY overpaid. To think Celtics were stupid enough to offer him a $100 mill contract scared me

Gordon is the exact player you’re describing that the Celtics need though :skip:

A forward that can score and create for his teammates

As far as his injuries, I just think he had horrible luck here. It’s not like he has a degenerative issue. He never got hurt in Utah and has looked pretty healthy in Charlotte

Is Gordon Hayward as good as Harrison Barnes, Aaron Gordon, or Jerami Grant right now? I would say no :pachaha:

Plus they are more athletic, less injury prone, and cheaper

Plus all are ok with being a 3rd or 4th option, which Hayward was not

Jerami Grant just took less money to play for a worst team because he wanted a bigger role:skip:

you think he want to come to Boston to be a 4th options behind guys that are years younger than him.

Hayward is easily better than Barnes & Gordon, it’s not even arguable :skip:

Grant just left a team that was in the WCF for a trash lottery team because he wanted to be the #1 option so I’d say yeah he does care about shots. And also Detroit is not trading him so he’s irrelevant to the Celtics plans.

My point is for that contract and his unwillingness to play the 4th option, I'm glad he's gone

Barnes and Gordon are better for the Celtics. Gordon in theory is a better player, but have we seen it in his 3 years with the Celtics? Thats a hell no :mjlol:

I don't care about his stats were on the Utah Jazz or that he made 1 all star team. He's soft, injury prone, overrated defender, etc. I'm so happy he's gone :blessed:

Grant, Gordon, and Barnes have all been more productive in the past 3 years than Gordon Hayward has
