The way I see it, not only should Time Lord be starting, but also move Nesmith into the starting unit at least until Smart gets back. This season is a lost cause regardless, and players can't develop if they're not getting consistent minutes :manny:

I mean shyt, if they lose to Dallas tonight and the Knicks beat the Warriors, they'll be the 7th seed anyway :skip:

This team is a complete disaster.

And there’s no Kyrie or Rozier or Morris to make the scapegoat

This is typical and disgusting. The players are the low hanging fruit because they are scared to talk about who is really to blame

Danny is deff to blame with how he held onto assets too long till they lost value and not keeping Rozier and signing Kemba

But I don't care, Brad is the number # 1 at fault for this one. As mediocre this roster is, they should NOT be a below a .500 team whatsoever. Brad has the most predictable offense in the league. When I watch the games, its like I'm watching College Basketball offense where they just pass it around the perimeter and just jack up 3 pt shots

One of the Celtics reporters mentioned. Brad is a floor raiser, but not a ceiling raiser

Yeah that sums up how I feel about Stevens too. If you put him in Sacramento or Charlotte, I think he’d definitely elevate those teams. I don’t think he’s a bad coach at all. But he’s having a horrible year and in general I think his time here has ran its course. And me saying that isn’t even because the team is losing, because this isn’t the first time they’ve been a losing team under his watch. But the difference between now and then is I never felt Brad wasn’t maximizing the talent he had. And make no mistake, Danny Ainge gave him a flawed ass roster and IMO is the most to blame for the current situation, but I don’t think Brad has done any favors.

And I think people also should not get comfortable with the Jays. Cause Jaylen is set to hit unrestricted FA in 2024 and we know Tatum loves LA, works out with Embiid in the offseason, wanted to team up with Booker coming out of college and he’s boys with Bam in Miami. I say that to say people need to stop just assuming those guys will be Celtics lifers because if the last two offseasons have taught us anything, it’s that things change real fast in this league.

Yes 100%, Brad is not maximizing the talent that is in front of him. I remember a reporter said, yeah this roster is flawed. But does Brad Stevens need a team with 4 all stars so he can be a competent coach?

The media is to blame too. They are playing with fire when it comes to the Jays. Like, you don't think the 2 of them hear the noise that this season is "their fault" and they are "too selfish"?
I always hear from writers, "Jaylen and Jayson play too much ISO ball all the time". So what the hell you expect star players to do? :mjtf::russ:

That wears on a player, and cause them to start to look elsewhere

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
As much as I’m frustrated with Ainge and Stevens

you can’t give Tatum a pass... yes we need to be careful of blaming him because we value him and want him to stay but he’s had some stinkers and takes some bad shots

Kemba sucks and him playing every other game can’t be helping the team trying to get chemistry and into a rhythm

and obviously losing smart is a huge blow to our defense

Danny needs to make a damn trade already and shake things up
