Also... Laurence is the only boss in the game that I feel was a bit on the cheap side.
I got him down to his final phase plenty of times, but the fact that you really don't have an opening ever to hit him cleanly during that phase made it some bullshyt. I didn't watch any videos to beat him either, but I'm a def check some out now, just to see what people did to beat him smoother than I did. I ended up just using the whip version on the Threaded Cane when he changed so I could damage him from a distance without stepping on the fire he was spewing out everywhere
You did all the chalice dungeons?
I only did the ones that I needed to do to get to a boss needed for a trophy (it was depth 5) and the Beast Claws... I did some others but for the most part they weren't that bad. I started messing with the Burial Blade+9 and wrecked everything in the last dungeon.You did all the chalice dungeons?

How you feel about defiled Amygdala and that fukking watchdog?I only did the ones that I needed to do to get to a boss needed for a trophy (it was depth 5) and the Beast Claws... Took me some tries, but wasn't anything crazy. I got Amygdala's moves down from the first time I faced her... it was just a matter of bossing up and not getting hit by them, ever. The Watchdog was annoying but again, his moves weren't that hard to react to. I think I have the fights saved, I have to look.
I forget which Dungeon he was in, but the higher depth Pthumerian Descendant gave me problems from what I remember...

I didn't save the Watchdog fight, I checked last night, it was too sloppy I guess.

Started this game last week, taken me 5 fukking nights but I finally beat the damn Cleric Beast! I know it's only the first boss and the upcoming ones gon' push my shyt in hard but a nikka's happy! That 'Prey Slaughtered' banner felt so good. Really and truly though fukk this game, shyt's stressful
