What's the best way to getting the materials for upgrading weapons? I can buy Twin Blood Shards, will I ever be able to cop Chunks?

At some point you should be able to buy them, I think for around 20 or 30 a piece.

Man, I beat Maria & Kos on my 2nd try. Ludwig took me a little bit longer, but not much. Laurence though...dude took me FOREVER to beat. I think my main problem is it's hard to get a read on his moves. He has multiple moves that have the same starting/launching point, so I'd get caught thinking he's gonna do one thing, and he's doing another. He definitely got in my head by the end. The struggle was real, and I'll never go through it again.

Laurence and Ludwig were the two hardest for me on the DLC. Kos was kicking my ass as well, but he's easier to get a read on. Maria though? Played the DLC 3 times and only had to fight her 3 times. Thought she was pretty easy.

What's the recommended level? I'm like 130 now, and this will be NG++ for me cause I stayed at the checkpoint right before the last encounter in order to get everything done. You've already finished your NG+? First time I attempted the DLC was on NG++ and it was fukking ridiculous. I just said fukk it after a little bit and played it with a different character. I eventually beat it on NG++ but I had to experience it on a 1st playthrough first.
My NG+3 character is over 200 but I did a lot of grinding, plus chalice dungeons. 130 should be aight but it's gonna be hard as hell no matter what.
Does anyone else like how From Soft took a horribly racist works (Lovecraftian) and turned it on its head?

Go read how he describes black men in Call of Cthulu or Herbert West Reanimator. Dude was very racist.
