I thought that was only helpful while he was in human form? I can take him down to his last third of health no issue but then struggle once he transform. Spent 2hrs on this bull, going to bed, this fool's dying tomorrow

Just killed Father Gascoigne's bytch ass
just 2 staggers and visceral follow ups. Easy enough once you finally do it, took me about 30 or so goes tho in all

Was reading the earlier pages in this thread, someone stated that holding Insight makes you face stronger enemies? How should I be managing Insight? AFAIK it's currency that can be used in the Dream and necessary for using bells. Anything else to know? Should I be spending as soon as possible?
Also any other pointers that could come in useful with the game?Just past the gate post Gascoigne. e.g should I be buying weapons/armour or finding them in the game, thanks.

having insight didn't really make much of a difference for me. the enemies somewhat do get stronger, but not as much if you are upping your stats properly. Your main focus should be on upping your stats (strength, hp, endurance in that order), and recognizing enemy attack patterns. Also getting good at parrying also will help you alot.
the game does get easier as you progress, that's cause you get better at it and understand enemy patterns. also once you have your weapons to +7/+8 and up you are good. Good luck.
