This take is pretty lame and not taking the situation into context.
- DeMar DeRozan was on a pretty good team his rookie season that finished 2nd in the division. He played with an all-star level player in Chris Bosh, as well as vets like Hedo, Jarrett Jack and Jose Calderon.
- The same with Bradley Beal, joining an already decent team. Wall was already an all-star player in Beal's 2nd season. He was also surrounded by vets like Nene, Gortat, and Ariza.
- Devin Booker was playing with a bunch of vets like Eric Bledsoe, Tyson Chandler and PJ Tucker.
- Zach Lavine was on a really young team, but they did not look to him to be the main creator on offense. KAT and Wiggins were 1st & 2nd options.
Jalen Green is being put in a really tough situation, being asked to lead this team as a 20 year old, on a bad team, and being surrounded by other young guys that are trying to learn the game. Eric Gordon is the only true vet on the team.
