continuation of my post above

Black people ain't fukkin with anything that reinforces long term stability. They aint fukking with investing in something now for the future whether it be in time, education or money. Also, socioeconomic conditions will push black people to get shyt for the now instead of for the future stability. Selling drugs is easy and fast money, but you could get locked up for crazy time. Reinforced in the music we listen to, where YOLO and Live fast, Die Young is the mentality for the black youth.

You always see them OGs in the neighborhood with them stories about how they used have this and used to do this. "Yea back in early 90's copped a brand new lexus, I used to run these blocks, used to live here and all that other shyt with nothing to show for it now. What they got now nothing, riding around the hood on a fukking bicycle all fukkin day looking :flabbynsick: and :wtf: (crackheadish) at the same time, not doing shyt with themselves, but riding around telling stories about what they used to have, used to do, and used to fukk. The nikka ain't doing shyt now and they just turned 40. I refuse to let that be me.

Yeah. Black people don't think in terms of the future. We're only concerned with what's happening now.

Think about us right now, politically. We aren't thinking about how to best position ourselves for the future. It's all about Obama right now.

Black leadership has surrendered its power and leverage. They've remained silent. Made no demands.

But, what about in the future when Obama isn't President? Is Black leadership going to suddenly turn the protest politics switch back on?

How will that happen when we no longer even have leverage as a critical voting bloc as the largest minority group? Hispanics will have the numbers and economic power. Black people will be an afterthought.

No one is thinking about this stuff because it's in the future!

We are in for a rude awakening. You think the lack of attention paid to Black unemployment and Black issues is gross right now, just wait until it's clear we aren't a critical voting bloc anymore!

Blacks need a complete cultural overhaul before anything can be fixed. The black family unit is all but gone today. This has led to a lot of the problems facing our community. But this is a very complex situation.

We need to value education as a people. Tired of the excuses, we don't value it like other people. Asians have little to no connections with rich whites, but their education makes them valued. STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) related fields should be a big focus in regards to black education. It is hard to discriminate against anybody when they have those skills.

We also need more black businesses, outside of the typical barbershop, soul food restaurant, and rim/stereo shops. I have seen the writing on the wall in corporate America, it is very hard to move up as a black man...it is not impossible though but very hard.

Whites with no degrees also have a higher employment rate than blacks with degrees. So discrimination in the job market is rampant. Harvard has done resume studies and shown that names or things associated with blacks are way less likely to be contacted for interviews even when resume is equal. Whites with the last name Washington (black are over 90% of Washington surnames) also are less likely to be called for job interviews.

Anytime these things are discussed on a public platform negroes will argue you down. From the Moynihan report, Thomas Sowell and Bill Cosby, this cultural overhaul makes people uncomfortable. It would require sacrifice of people's personal interests and I don't see black people doing that collectivelly.

Hey the way I feel about it is until the Democrats stop victimizing blacks, we will always be dependent on someone elses promises to fix it for us. So far, those promises haven't exactly come through.

Yes because most business owners are Democrats

It's even worse than that. Whites with criminal records have higher employment rates than blacks without. Real talk I feel like I'm the last of a dying breed out in these streets as a black man with a bachelor's degree, some ambition, and the willingness to work towards a long term goal. All these little nikkaz with wild tattoos/ piercings all on their faces and shyt with no experience or education gon be in for a rude awakening in the next 5-10 years.

When I think of the future of the black community, all I can do is :to: I weep for these little nikkaz, word to Maya Angelou.

Historical disenfranchisement (poorer groups in a nation usually take forever to catch up to everyone else)
Lack of motivation (you can get away with this being a lazy white male, but you don't get that same privileged being non-white in this county more often than not)
shytty schools
rampant negativity towards the black community in general (see these discussions popping up every five seconds as an example)

Norfeast groovin…
Look up Dr. Amos Wilson, he explains all this shyt extensively. Black people create a lot of jobs, but don't own the capacity to hire in their favor cuz the ones in control aren't them. If you don't control your culture your going to be subdued and controlled by the ones that do control said culture.

This is the prophetical ether to black people today. :ohlawd: Nobody would listen to this man...dude was telling people what would happen to us in the future. The United States government has it on their website, just to let us know how they are playing us. The government keeps it as the blueprint to keep the black man down. That is how stupid we have become as a people.

LBJ mentioned it once and recieved unfavorable responses on it. After that, silence. :mjpls:

You see negroes are the first ones to piss on marriage as an institution. SMH

Thomas Sowell talked about the cultural problems, yet he is seen as pirahna by white liberals. Dude is given no shine at all. :snoop:
