I grew up in Fort Lauderdale but have been living in NY since I was 16 and I’ve been having thoughts of moving to either Florida, Georgia or Texas. When I see the housing prices I get jealous and wonder if it’s worth living in NY.

During Covid I was feeling pressed to leave BK. Started looking at housing prices in Texas and it’s cheaper but that margin is closing. I went to Western PA once. Once. All I remember is when I went to a gas station just off the highway, a black family told me to get your destination and stock up on food, cause venturing a small town to eat meant that you never going back. Road trips going out west of NJ is a big no no.
