Im from Greensboro NC. It's the South, but it's very progressive.
I lived in OH and found myself among the serious CACs. Ended up fleeing back home after a decade and a half.
Moving back South was the best move I ever made. But thats back to the crib. Back to the fam.
I'm lucky cause my town doesn't have that heavy handed southern racist vibe.
The sit ins started here. We have the museum in the Woolworth where I used to shoplift from as a kid.
Anywayz. I refuse to travel further south if I don't have to. I don't even like going 10 min out of town into rural areas. But my city is dope. And Im sure there's plenty of dope cities in the South.

I like the coastal areas of Nc. The rest of the south I’ve been to feels horrible. Especially Alabama Louisiana and Mississippi.
