Is Orlando the best city in Florida? Is there a ton to do down there?

I don't really know but my perception is that it is. I've known black people from Sacramento to Rochester who have relocated to Orlando, most people I've met swear by it. My oldest kids' mom, has family (including her closest sister) there, abd she swears by Orlando, thinking of relocating there at some point...

Me and my family are looking to relocate somewhere warmer with plenty of activities. California is at the top of the list but so expensive. We’re thinking about Arizona as well. Florida could be a possibility

In December I opted to live in a brand new high rise on the water with a Manhattan view and I got that. If I wanted to live in the suburbs down south I could have done that too

We’re in the metro Detroit area. Me, my girl and son, parents that are retiring and siblings all looking to go.

I have family out in Fontana/Rancho which is an even bigger reason to go out west. But still thinking.

Most the people saying fukk California never been here and the ones that have scared of the cost of living moreso than the way of living..

Only pro in NC is there are more of us seeming to do well for themselves..it’s easy as hell to pop kid in a bytch and be a family man out there as it’s life on easy mode financially compared to here..

One of the best decisions ever for me was leaving Flatbush and ultimately ending up in the south. Now I could never see myself living in the city. On my property I have a fresh water source, wild deer, and land to grow food. I could never have that in Brooklyn.

My cousin showed me a picture of an apartment she was getting in Queens and that shyt was like 500 square foot and cost more than my mortgage

Let me just say that anywhere black people are, there's an amount of us who thrive. But there are plenty of majority or plurality black cities from Memphis to Birmingham to Norfolk to Baltimore to New Orleans to Baton Rouge, on and on, who are all not optimal places for black people...

Atlanta really isn't, either...

There are a handful of cities in the South that are great for us. A handful, not really more than other regions, we just gas the South cities so much because they typically are lower cost of living, better weather...
