People make the mistake of assuming the Mesoamerican descendants are the same as the other Mexicans there. Theyre analogous to our own native Americans.

In America, everyone thinks all Mexicans look like George lopez or some shyt. They have a LOT of cacs, and many of the 'brown' Mexicans have more Spanish DNA than indigenous DNA in them. If you watch their TV shows and movies they really prop up the white looking Mexicans and ignore their natives and black people.

Lupita nyongo and Louis CK were both born in Mexico and don't look like what people think of when they think of Mexicans. People who look like the latter enjoy the same white privilege cacs enjoy here, while people who look like the former are treated like dirt and people pretend they don't exist.
