IF Ryan Coogler plays it smart and uses the income he got from this film and future MCU films(Black Panther), he and MBJ can use the capital they gathered to create their OWN films like the Mansa Musa film they been thinking about. Coogler is slowly becoming a house hold name.

Look what marvel doing with ant-man and guardians of the galaxy? nikkas turning water into wine with no name characters and bout to have a billion dollar franchise with black panther...yet DC fukked up a movie with Batman and Superman sharing the screen twice...

dark knight only exists as elsewhere what if style storytelling.
that they need as a completely contrast and out to exist or they would have nuffin.
once they get a draw from their alternative dark storytellig.

Y’all gotta understand that the global hatred for the African race is on some deep shyt.

They like us when we know our “place” acting, singing, and playing sports.

When we start stepping out of those boxes, other races start to feel threatened.

They got no problems with watching nikkas in movies, but when we move next door to them in their gated communities, building wealth, and working together THEN it’s a problem.

This movie will do very well overseas, because at the end of the day all the races that hate us know that this shyt has no real world consequences.

They can watch the movie, and then go right back to reinforcing white supremacy without skipping a beat.

imagine if black folk had this same energy for black produced and owned content like Nate Parkers Birth of a Nation. I enjoyed the movie.. but folks talking about seeing it multiple times and stuffing marvels pockets doesn't make sense. That not keeping black dollars circulating in the black community. It's hustling backwards. Where was that energy when Nate parkers movie dropped. Even if you were one of the c00ns that claimed you were "tired of slave movies" why didn't yall do it like yall did for black panther and just some extra tickets "for the cause" and to support Nate Parkers film... You didn't even have to watch it to do that. It's clear that black panther has proven black folks have no problem spending their money. no excuses.

Hopefully Chadwick bossman sees some backend money so that would be the only silver lining if a black person actually benefited from all this. I doubt it though cause marvel is notoriously cheap especially for the first movie.

financial risk?Have you seen the long list of hollywood movies with big budgets that have flopped?(gods of Egypt) Hollywood will continue to pump money into mediocre projects that are unoriginal.They say financial risk but that is just an excuse of being racist.And there is money and talent that exist outside of hollywierd and black media does not need the backing of hollywood to succeed.
