Yeah I fought him the most times. Azure Dust is the only transformation that's effective on him. You also need to begin the first with the fan.

i hated pretty much every boss in this chapter

the thunder dragon was the worst boss fight i've palyed in a long time
the woman who can turn into a thunder dragon
the buddha world was a fukking PAIN to play through
the monk boss who constantly dodges was super annoying
the treasure hunter boss was annoying, mostly bc the game kept frame dropping. Prolly cuz his moves were fukking up the fps
the ice monk spirit boss hit like a truck (he actually isnt annoying to play against, but he is a difficult boss)

almost wanted to stop playing. Many of my gripes in this game come from just this chapter. So much to dislike

Wait to you get to the end of chapter 4 lol

Starting from a “mud” boss, then the few secret area bosses, and then the end chapter boss…you will play a gauntlet of some of the most frustrating poorly designed dogshyt bosses you have ever seen lol

After beating all of them the rest of the game was a cakewalk apart from the secret boss

Yeah I caught the fan + Qi strategy but I'm just not able to do enough damage. At least I was able get to his 3rd phase consitently but not a prayer on actually beating him will come back to it tomorrow

NG+ Pretty much been a revenge tour. ran the set that gave you 25% bonus damage but you take an extra 30% damage with spellbinder and just melting bosses. think I only died to two bosses fukking around. Just got Erlang and Wukong left.
