there is no such thing as race. either you have a significant amount of melanin, or you lack it.

The original [insert nation] was black. This is a fact. the white and light skinned people you see over there today is due to mixing, immigrating, and kicking out of the original people.

books to check out:

You can get white from black but not black from white. this is a fact.

Jesus aint white, Moses wasn't white, Solomon wasn't white, the original jews or hebrews were not white, the original arab, european, greeks, egyptians, american WERE NOT WHITE. These are facts. ace are a new people on the planet, and did not create anything that hasn't already been here. Not insulting, just pointing out reality.

The list is endless.

:ohhh:

the hadith (strong sources) commented that he was light (white) skinned.
The tribe of Kuresh had people of different complexions (mixed).

He was white. The paintings show it, the texts show it, and most importantly anthropological and genetic evidence show it.

It's just another attempt by Black Supremacists on here, who happen to be Muslim, to escape the reality that they went from one white man's religion, Christianity, to another white man's religion.

Again, the Black Supremacist neglects that these paintings were during Muhammad's lifetime and shortly after his death, and commissioned by his own relatives and entourage. The paintings of Jesus are from 1000 years after his death and commissioned by European Catholics.

Now Islam is from Africa and Muhammad was black.

People, I can't stress to you enough: this is what religion and cults do to your mind.

A number of hadith and other writings of the early Islamic period include stories in which portraits of Muhammad appear. Abu Hanifa Dinawari, Ibn al-Faqih, Ibn Wahshiyya and Abu Nu`aym tell versions of a story in which the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius is visited by two Meccans. He shows them a cabinet, handed down to him from Alexander the Great and originally created by God for Adam, each of whose drawers contains a portrait of a prophet. They are astonished to see a portrait of Muhammad in the final drawer. Sadid al-Din al-Kazaruni tells a similar story in which the Meccans are visiting the king of China. Kisa'i tells that God did indeed give portraits of the prophets to Adam. Ibn Wahshiyya and Abu Nu'ayn tell a second story in which a Meccan merchant visiting Syria is invited to a Christian monastery where a number of sculptures and paintings depict prophets and saints. There he sees the images of Muhammad and Abu Bakr, as yet unidentified by the Christians. In an 11th-century story, Muhammad is said so have sat for a portrait by an artist retained by Sassanid king Kavadh II. The king liked the portrait so much that he placed it on his pillow.

Many visual depictions only show Muhammad with his face veiled, or symbolically represent him as a flame; other images, notably from before about 1500, show his face.

That's right. Unlike Jesus, Moses, Ancient Egyptians, we actually have text sources and images of Muhammad during his lifetime and shortly after his death.

Are you denying this?

So if the evidence is so conclusive, why isn't Muhammad widely regarded as being a white man?

But then again you're the same idiot who thinks that there are greeks and italians as dark as the average Indian.

paintings? :beli:

There were several portraits of him done within 100 years of his life. Those are relatively well-documented by early Muslim historians. Secular or not, we can both agree- it's hard to stop people from making images. The same thing happened in Buddhism- Buddha also explicitly stated that no one was to create images of him (or make him into a deity) after his death, but almost as soon as he died, the images started popping up. It seems to be a deep-seated practice.
