Absolutely insane. I can’t think of any plausible scenario that should have warranted releasing the shooter. CaC was clearly waiting for an opportunity to kill a Black person and he’s being protected by the community, neighbors and ‘authorities’ alike. This is Ahmaud Arbery over again.

These gun laws are really used as a buffer to protect white people in the eyes of the law when they shoot Black people. I hope the boy can pull through with as much quality of life as he can muster but this should be looked at as attempted murder.
