I'd like to know who barkley was stopping defensively?

ewing and malone were jumpshooters.

plus by going small, you'd pull ewing away from the paint, opening up the lane for bronze and the PG's.

He gonna score over the trailing defender and the center or forward stepping up:usure:

Maybe 4-10 times.. Not exactly a winning formula

So then you go against yor OWN point:

He wont be be able to swing it weakside b/c a man us there..
If a defender is trailing, Lebron will find an open man.

They Got Out Rebounded by Lithuiana

Nigeria had 13 Offensive Rebounds, Tunisia had 12

Thats alot in a 40 Minute game

nigeria lost by 83 points, honestly who gives a fukk how many rebounds they got ?

tunisia by almost 50... lol

dream team is not controlling the tempo against these athletes

'12 winning isn't impossible, it's just improbable.. The championship game against Spain was an example of how the matchup would go..Leave everyone else out of the discussion and just imagine the '12 team playing the same exact Spain team on Sunday, with everything else being equal, except you replace Rudy Fernadez with Jordan...No Barkely, Robinson, Ewing, Malone or Pippen... Just put Jordan on Sundays Spain team and USA has silver around their neck today...Which is kinda the point of Simmon's piece...

USA Basketball: Stats >> USA 99, Lithuania 94

Look at that roster...
they lost by 5...
:mjpls:

If you're gonna include the Lithuania game then you gotta look at the Nigeria game too.

Is the US team 83 points better than Nigeria? Probably not. If they played again I doubt the game gets that much out of hand. The US were unconsciously hot from long range.

Is the US team only 5 points better than Lithuania? I doubt this too.

The trailing man would be the man he just got around.. Unless there are two men in one spot the weakside and top of the key is still sewn up..

Word, cuz Melo isnt 6'8"? Bron isnt 6'9"? Kobe isnt 6'7"?

outside of the point guards (and only cuz of Magic) the '12 team have longer perimeter players.

Bird wasn't 6'9"?
Pip wasn't 6'7"? (most other places have him at 6'8")
Drexler wasn't 6'7"?

Anyone that think the 2012 team would beat 1992 team really have no idea what they are talking about. That is that. Enough with this dumb subject. 2012 team probably would not even beat the 2008 team.

Durant's listed height is without shoes, with shoes he was 6"10 and change @ 18 and has supposedly grown since then.

Davis was recently measured at 6"10 in shoes, Durant is taller.
