I agree.. I give the lil n!ggas their props.. They came up and represented well..Damn sure showed and proved more than the '04 squad...But at the end of the day if the '92 team is on the porch, they gonna have to play their position and run to the store for the soda and cigarettes..

:smugdraper:

Them and their supporters just don't wanna be dismissed as scrubs, cuz they're not.. They're good kids....And they try REALLY hard...

:smugfavre:
man shut up

Yeah i feel you, they can get hot and beat anyone, but chuck D is a good defensive coach and could come up with some strategies to mitigate the 3pt shooting of this team. This is the man who came up with the jordan rules. Coach K, really can't make any adjustments to stop the 92 team unless he put Dream, KAJ, and Wilt in a time machine and make them 25 again.

how do you defend against great 3 point shooters? tall perimeter defenders getting close to the shooters. Problem is the '12 team are taller and can get by guys off the dribble.

fact

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
First time in a long time that I agree with a BS article.
It looks pretty clear to me, I mean, it was just Jordan's will to win, and make adjustments that would have put the 12 team down even if they went on a run and blacked out. There is not one person on that team that had Mike's will to win, except maybe Kobe, and Kobe is clearly on the decline while Mike was in his prime. To me it's easy, buit since we will never find out for sure. Maybe 12 would beat them in 1 game out of ten.

because you can name 2 all star players on the Spanish team and yet have no idea who played on those 1992 teams.

you keep repeating that like Spain are some terrible team and the '92 team beat up on the 60s Celtics or 80s Lakers.

I could be wrong but I don't think he's comparing what the 92 team did against their comp to what the 2012 team did against Spain. I think he's saying that if you consider the problems Spain gave them with Gasol, Gasol, and Ibaka just imagine what Robinson, Ewing, Malone, Barkley would do. That's not even taking into account the difference between the 92 USA and 2012 Spain on the perimeter. It is silly to compare what the teams did against incomparable competition. It isn't so silly to look at how 2012 fared against a team with size and a bunch of NBA talent when comparing them to a team that had even better big guys and even more NBA talent in the 92 team.

2012 team was crazy nice with the shooting, but how many of those shots were basically wide open looks? Teams had already determined that they were gonna play zone and give them those looks because they couldn't stick them one on one. The 92 team isn't leaving them with open jumpers all day. They'll get their's, but not ridiculous 65% from 3 efficiency.... Also 92 team had a vastly superior bball IQ. And Magic and Stockton are not gonna be turning the ball over like that, which is the the 2012 team's greatest (and only) defensive asset

I mean, all it would be is what Spain did against the US, execpt replace every player on Spain with a better Dream Team player...especially down bottom... and it's curtains

how do you defend against great 3 point shooters? tall perimeter defenders getting close to the shooters. Problem is the '12 team are taller and can get by guys off the dribble.

and get met by Ewing, D Rob, or the people's elbow

I never used the word "stop" or even implied that so you're quoting me based on other posts from different heads in here.

I used the words "contest" , "slow down" and "make things more difficult"

they are too talented offensively to be "stopped" by anyone

This.

Why would even 92 have to man up on 12... Play a 3-2 zone and filter them dudes to Drob and ewing.. Or any other variation of that..where would the wide open three come from? :dwillhuh:

I just dont see how a jumpshooting team is gonna put 100 plus points on a team thats a inside dominant team.. You play basketball inside out.. :wtf:Not outside in..you cant have westbrook, kobe, kd, and lebron on the floor at the same time against a team thats got a strong inside presence..

Plus what team had jordan on it :mjpls:

This year team I def dont think would beat the 92 team i do think the redeem team would take 92 in a seven game series they played two years together before the 08 Olympics they were deeper and more athletic people just because the win totals from 92 make them better but the competition level is so much deeper and that 08 team seemed more of an actual team. That being sad I was actually able to watch all the 08 games and I was like 5 during the 92 games so i know a lot more about the game now so :yeshrug: no one actually knows its all speculation

Plus the 92 team would dominate the offensive glass and they didnt shoot the three like this current team did....so they wouldnt be running nearly as much off of long rebounds.
