I watched alot of those games. They played and beat him, but they used alot of those tactics and cheap shots alot on him and the Bulls consistently when they beat them those four times.

They were physical but they were also a talented team that could score, they werent the 90s Knicks...

I am not surprised Laimbeer didnt choose MJ with all the battles they had against those Bulls teams ur ego wont let you choose one of ur opponents in those wars...

I can never put LeBron over him because of 3-6 and truthfully it should be 1-8

That’s not how basketball works if you do that then you’ll have to revise several players titles.

It’s so hard for cats to realize basketball is a team game and it’s a 48 minute game and series are 7 games and everything leading up to the Finals also matters.

LeBron’s ‘11 Finals prevent him from being the G.O.A.T. for me but his other losses are justified and I have a hard time seeing other legends win in his shoes.

to me lebron is 3-3 in the finals. I give him a pass for 2007, 2015 and 2018.

the other 6 i felt like his team(S) could've won those series

we know what happened in 2011.

In 2014 the heat could've been up 2-0 winning both games on the road, but lebron caught cramps at the end of game 1 and after game 2 his play was inconsistent for the rest of the series

2017 the series could've ended up being 2-2. The cavs were up late and lebron hit korver who missed (which is fine) but on the ensuring possession lebron let KD run into a pull up 3 instead of pressing up and making him make a play at the rim and that essentially ended the series. the cavs were up double digits in game 5 and in a slew of 4 minutes the warriors were in the lead.

Will other legends that loss in the Finals be getting these curves that you are giving Lebron as well?

Sure. Only Jerry West is comparable to LeBron as far as Finals appearances and nobody really holds it against him. He won a Finals MVP in a losing effort and is the Logo.

Other players aren’t even judged as harshly for losing in the Finals. I guess you believe other legends would manage to win series like 2007 and 2015 Finals...

Well that’s not how basketball works. A lot of legends wouldn’t win without big shots and plays from teammates. It’s silly to dismiss LeBron own contribution in those games, in those series, and in leading them throughout the course of the season.

Paxson gamewinning three off Grant kickout to win 1993 Finals...

Grant gamewinning block to win 1993 NBA Finals...

Mario Elie “Kiss of Death” in game 7 allows Rockets to advance in playoffs they lose they don’t even get a shot at the title, one of many clutch shots and performances by Hakeem teammates during his two title runs...

Kobe and Shaq miss layups in clutch. Vlade taps out ball to Horry who buries gamewinning three...

Which Finals outside of Dallas did the Cavs and Heat lose that they were favored? Series he played poorly in?

2011 was the only year he lost as the favorite.

2013/2016 he was lucky, his team was the underdog in 2016.

He was the best player on both of those teams but his ass got saved by teammates.

When having these discussions those details matter.

No one wins without teammates. Why is it “saving “ for him?
