my main concern with the issue is with children. if they don't get proper nutrition, it can effect their development

You do know most people don't get the proper nutrition now, right?. Why do you think people always have some type of sickness, mental or physical?.

Most people are low in monounsaturated & polyunsaturated fats, especially blacks, and also antioxidants& minerals which will benefit whites also so their skin can take to the sun better without any problems. These foods help the brain perform at it's optimum, as well as keeping the immune system strong, along with protein. A lot of problems we experience in the world is really the brain being stressed from lack of the proper foods, especially fats and certain amino acids. I can go on and on, but most people are missing a lot of nutrients in their body and don't realize it because everyone else around them is just like them. I know this because I didn't realize how much healthier I could have been until I changed my diet and lifestyle and noticed, the negative ways of living that brought me problems, even on a very subtle level, is normal in this world. I just learned to accept it, but always wonder if people just knew how to eat, and ARE WILLING to change their eating habits will the world be a better place, but I don't take that dream too serious because I KNOW it won't happen anytime soon.

all jokes aside, it can be done, but it shouldn't be the same as an adult's vegetarian diet, as growing children have different needs

No they don't, they need the same as adults just in smaller quantities and in liquid which is why breast milk is the best for a baby as it also has other nutrients being made that enhances a babies immune system. A child is just a smaller version of an adult, not some alien growing inside a woman that shot out of her p*ssy, and ready to examine the earth.:heh:

They are wrong in that calcium, iron, and zinc are only available through meat. You get those from green leafy vegetables, and nuts or seeds. The reason why meat is known to eat for iron specifically, is because it has saturated fat which enhances it's absorption, while plants have no saturated fat, but that is why nuts or seeds are important to have in your diet as they contain enough saturated fat as well as being high in anti-oxidants so the saturated fat doesn't create too much cholesterol which when oxidizes causes problems which happens when you eat meat, that has very little or no anti-oxidants. Even something simple like sauteing your greens in some ghee(clarified butter) or coconut oil will enhance iron absorption. So meat is not needed to get iron in the diet.

A lot of people who claim being a vegetarian didn't work for them usually ate processed food which are void in key nutrients, when they should have been eating whole, natural, "peasant" foods, but you need to know how to cook to enjoy these foods. If you want to be a vegetarian, you have to learn how to eat, which means learning food, and the body, being that the knowledge isn't really out here. Once you do, and workout properly, NO ONE can fukk with you on this health shyt, and getting fukked up if you puff herb, and drink as this diet sensitizes your body, while also strengthen it. Don't make me go into sex, these chicks will love your ass but that takes some more knowledge.

I don't think consuming animal products that has been pumped full of untold amounts of antibiotics and steroids is good for you, even in moderation. :manny:



I've been following a Vegan diet for well over 2 years now, the transition/discipline has been relatively easy for me since I've been exposed to Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine my entire life.

oh, and I'm 6'2 195, workout 6 times a week and my sex drive is :ahh:

I need to know your discipline

Give me advice, I need to get off some pills.

Just eat around 2-3 ounces of nuts or seeds daily, along with some type of beans(dried beans are better because you get more for your money and not a lot of additives like sugar and salt), and leafy greens, and do some resistance training and cardio right after the resistance training, but try to keep the cardio to no more then 15 minutes. You want to to burn around 100 calories, no more, no less. The goal is to get the body going not to burn all of your calories during your exercise routine. Eat a handful of the nuts or seeds 1.5-2 hours before you workout, and eat most of your food right after you workout. Drinking some black or green tea during your workout also enhances strengthen your body.

Also, try to eat your heavy foods(high in protein and fat) like nuts, seeds, beans or fake meats in the day, and eat your fast digesting foods like pasta, rice, etc. at night so your body can relax and not spend all of it's energy into digesting food. Just eat a little fat with these fast digesting foods so your blood sugar doesn't dip too low, and have you starving 2 hours after you ate them. Some psyllium husk(go to gnc) will help keep your blood sugar stable also if you drink it right after eating your food as it slows digestion down without adding any calories being that it's a soluble fiber. The taste might not be what you would like, but just mix it with some orange or apple juice and you should be good to go.

When you cook leafy vegetables like spinach, saute it in some coconut oil, or butter so you can absorb most of the nutrients and gain the benefits they offer. Boiling them won't cut it.

You are helping me prove my point!. Look at the things they fed these kids, and see how it is exactly what I stated about people eating processed foods or not whole, natural foods which means they will lack nutrients they need as the reason why they claim being a vegetarian isn't good. You have to learn about food, and the body to know what to eat. Just eating a vegetable doesn't mean you are getting everything you need, it just means you are getting what that food specializes in. It is up to YOU to combine all of them, and make you healthy and strong.

this is serious business with kids. if Angelina Jolie decides her vegan diet isn't working out, she can change it, and no harm done. if some kid doesn't get the proper nutrition, their growth can be stunted, and there's no way to 'fix' that. and remember growth isn't just how tall you get, but also things like your brain development

again I'm not saying it's impossible for a child to get the proper nutrition with a vegetarian diet. just that it's not easy, or as simple as saying "they need the same as adults just in smaller quantities"

Eating lean, red meat and poultry is HEALTHY in moderation as anything else. Clinton, while doing an essentially good thing has simply taken it too far. A diet absent of meat makes you weaker physically and lowers sex drive. That simple. The social engineers are promoting a diet free of meat because they indeed do desire a physically weak and low sex drive public.
