But what I don't get is why you broadcast it so frequently. Lets analyze this for a minute...

It seems to that you guys are projecting your insecurities about being able to find a mate and foster a successful marriage. So you are denouncing marriage and searching for like minded individuals to validate the conflicted feelings you have. But deep down you know that you would love nothing more but to settle down, find a good woman and build a strong family. However you believe that is unobtainable due to your lack of success thus far....and here we are.

Your naivete is showing since we disproved that stat a while ago. See, the problem is it doesn't break down the issues the failed marriages have such as education disparities, ethnic differences, economic differences, age of first marriage, etc.​

Basically, the more differences between the individuals involved, the more likely the marriage is to fail, not because the institution of marriage, itself, is failing.

You should check the stats for marriages where the disparities are minimized and you'll find a completely different story.

I simply don't want to get married.

Like if I were to ask you, "Do you want to stay single forever?" You would say "no". And I would ask, "But why? I am so happy being single and there's soooo many benefits!" and you would say, "I just don't want that."
