If your city or any of the planned layover cities have a centurion lounge that $50-100 off from airport prices on food and drink which is free 99. Us that a couple times and you’ve again eaten into half of the annual fee. As well the lounges and getting away from the grind of being in fkn terminals is worth it as well.

centurion or priority pass lounge access is worth the price of admission alone. at 'ok' airports they're a break from the chaos of travel, at a nicer airport you won't want to leave.

this is why I asked because I never try to show up to a airport early enough to go chop it up and eat at this lounge which never seems to be around my terminal anyways.. I feel like I always am just in time to relax and wait for my flight for another 30 minutes so besides this lounge, what other automatic perks from traveling and hotels? Automatic room upgrades? Automatic first class for the whole family? Lol..

I got a room upgrade in Vegas plus free breakfast for the fam and the $200 credit. Add all those up and they paid me $250 to stay there

I think you can but it’s tied to that person’s name
A friend of mine had an Amex business card from his employer and got like $200 off the fee for a personal card. Some kind of system Amex does. So that’s another way

so i did the check my offers on the amex website and its saying im pre qualified for platinum. i know it has to be a mistake.

my credit score is average

Eh, there's been reports of people getting the plat card with scores as low as 680. If you're around there, it isn't a stretch to be pre qualified.

i applied and got approved.

I hope that annual fee is worth it.

Is there a way to cancel the card? I think i fukked up

And don’t EVER get buck with their customer service people. They will cancel your card, black list you and act like you never existed for life.

Just find a good deal on the black label hotels in the city you are looking to stay in on the app. Vegas is weird with prices, it will be $609 1 night then $50.27 the next night

Delano was legit though, they were on that tip with anyone trying to come over from Mandalay Bay the sister attached hotel
