Is there a way to cancel the card? I think i fukked up
:mjlol: man you midas well ride the wave now. You're going to take the credit score hit for opening a new account, another for a hard pull, and it's going to lower your Average Age of Accounts.

my credit score is average
they give you leeway if you have a card with them already because they know your pay history
edit saw you get approved.
if you want to cancel you can just call them. they don't do a hard pull on people who had an amex card with them before

If you ever plan on traveling next year twice or more you really should stick with it. The bennies are worth way more than the annual bonus, there have been reports that people have called Amex after their anniversary to get out of paying it by threatening to leave.

Aight. Let’s put this shyt in simplest terms. If I travel like 4 times to two different countries and a cruise and a state trip somewhere, what kind of perks could I get out of that platinum that make ya say it’s worth it? Not being funny. I’m actually trying to figure out if it’s truly worth it

If your city or any of the planned layover cities have a centurion lounge that $50-100 off from airport prices on food and drink which is free 99. Us that a couple times and you’ve again eaten into half of the annual fee. As well the lounges and getting away from the grind of being in fkn terminals is worth it as well.

this is why I asked because I never try to show up to a airport early enough to go chop it up and eat at this lounge which never seems to be around my terminal anyways.. I feel like I always am just in time to relax and wait for my flight for another 30 minutes so besides this lounge, what other automatic perks from traveling and hotels? Automatic room upgrades? Automatic first class for the whole family? Lol..

The fee is paid all at once or monthly?
