I was going to try Portugal in the Fall to scout areas to move to but with Covid ramping back up I’m staying home. May try again in the Spring.

I’m going to wait a few weeks to see if I need to pivot based on the situation in Portugal. If so several other countries are on the plan b list.

It’s obselete when every card issuer has a dining program on top of better perks.
Amex and chase we’re able to capture the market and the diners club died with baby boomers

I usually watch this guy AskSebby on YouTube. Asian guy. I like his breakdowns.
He’s my favorite when it comes to points and card comparisons. He just gives the information most them other dudes be trying to entertain and they corny

Currently have AMEX plat, Chase Sapphire Preferred, and Chase Freedom Flex, but I see myself bushing CSP for AMEX gold if they don't boost up this card soon. The freedom flex is mainly for the 0% interest, so that's a keeper, plus I want to have at least one chase card available, but that 4x on dining & groceries on the gold card :ehh:

Can't wait until Wyndam Rewards opens up status match again, so I can match Marriott Gold Elite to Diamond and get that free bahamas trip :wow:
I wonder if they will, that shyt is damn near too good to be true. I will go spend that time and just work from the Bahamas

I got the purple Amex for my business. Its one of only 2 credit cards I own.

Edit: I really only use it to cover my travel expenses because I get crazy miles off of it and a perks for getting supplies like paper etc.

Got one it’s cool. 1% cash back on everything and 2% when you use Apple Pay. I believe 3% on Apple stuff.

Apple lets you use it for monthly payments on their products too. So you can buy a Mac and pay for it over time on a Apple Card.

Edit: Forgot to add the cash back is daily, instead of your monthly statement.

Yeah sounds good I just don’t want them to give me a low limit
I need at least 4,000 limit to make it worthwhile

AmEx platinum is evil. It is NOT a credit card, it's a convienence card. NEVER use it unless you are prepared to pay the balance off quickly or that interest will dissolve your bank account. It'll cost you $750/year just to carry that piece of metal. I travel a lot so the air lounge perks alone pays for the card. AmEx Blue is a better deal for most.

Nothing evil about it. its markted to travelers, and its not difficult to get your monies worth out of the $695 fee. If someone signed up for 700 annual fee and does not know its a charge card and not a credit card they did 0 reserch and is a danm fool for buying something so expenseive and knowing nothing about it.:yeshrug:

i have it, but i wouldnt put big apple purchases on 24 month plan. i have a 10k limit, buying a computer (that i would need for the work i do) would put me over 20 percent utilization. i dont ever let me utilzation exceed 5% on any card to maintain my credit score.

On a computer that’s going to be like $40 or something. It’s nice I guess but I didn’t choose Apple because of the value it offers. I chose it because I knew they would approve me when navy fed and Amex wouldn’t.

now if you got all your other categories covered and you inquiry’s are low it’s not a bad option 4 or so card to have
