I feel like every multi-generational black American deserves a check, not just ADOS, and reparations shouldn't stop at a check either; Loan forgiveness, free healthcare, etc. should all be on the table.

non-ADOS can make their own claim, they're not apart of this one. This is multi-generational trauma that dates back to slavery, the black immigrants (pre 1960, black immigrants were no more than 2% of the black pop) who were here pre-1965 are free to make their own claim, don't try to crowbar into ours.

I told yall here they come. Went from "yall need to stop beggin" to "all black ppl deserve a check"

These people will shamelessly latch on. The only way is a family history trace or else they'll just try to camouflage and blend in

Black folks going to do that regardless. People dont understand how black people drive the economy. That money isn't enough. It should be:

1. 375k
2. Large government grants for black business. Mean they shouldn't have to pay it back.
3. Land. Lots of it
4. Free Education/Loan forgiveness.

This isn't nearly enough for the bullshyt black people been through. It's just a logical start.

This is what I want to see more of. People talking about land.

I've been going back and forth about which would be more beneficial, designated swaths of land where we could build and maintain our own cities (compliant with federal regulations - but certainly our own police forces) or individual plots.

Bottom line, if land isn't discussed, I'm not interested.

This is great and all, but if high ranking elected black officials don't sign off of reparations - including barack AND michelle, it ain't happening...

they also know that reparations would be the end of their political careers as well...but again, dope that Johnson said this.

Courses on financial literacy HAVE TO come with that money.

If your only understanding of money is living pay check to pay check and hitting the check cashing place, you'll blow through all that cash and it'll go right back up to the millionaires and billionaires instead of staying at your level and benefiting you, your family, your neighborhood and so on.

$10,000 for most Americans is life changing money. $400,000 would change GENERATIONS, if put to use properly.

If we could get great government subsidized educational benefits, better laws against discrimination and an even harsher penalty for violating them. The change within a lifetime would be staggering.

Land speaks volumes. I'm starting to look to buy land in areas not developed for cheap in Florida. Land is apart of that whole generational wealth

Michelle and Barrack ain't in office rn, so fukk them nikkas :dahell:

As long as we get Congress; Senate, and or the president to back this, we getting it. We already have about 25-33% of Congress who support HR 40 rn. These protests and covid makes it the perfect time to go for Reparations, as long as more of us keep pushing for it then we'll get it.

With that in mind, where does that leave me; you, and everyday ADOS like ourselves? Right now, we can call our local reps(mayors; congressman, senator, etc) and demand they push the US gov to enact Reparations to ADOS now.
