The reason I bring up housing subsidies is because it costs the government nothing for you to claim your rent/mortgage against your taxes to live tax free. Just like subsidized college, free public transportation, etc. there are ways to give black people benefits that would allow for upward mobility without the government having the excuse of “well it’s a drain on the economy”

Current poor people who have lived in the "ghetto" for generations would be able to pass down homes. That would help tremendously. More people would be able to afford life insurance that would help tremendously.
