So black people had no pride before Obama?

Obama's legacy is not gonna survive this information age.

That "feel good" shyt was cool during the heyday of Jet Magazine. But, Black folk legit haven't recovered from the housing crisis and all he did was bail out banks.

44 bricks...acre shaker
About 370 thousand per person

Don’t really know if that’s good or bad. I’d prefer free access to schools, housing subsidies, free transportation, and money specifically set aside for black home ownership and business development... but good for him for speaking up :salute:

I think most folks fail to comprehend the actual labor cost of slavery.

The average farm laborer salary in 2020 is roughly $25,000/year. Now translate that into a lifetime of free labor... 40 years of labor is literally worth a million+ dollars and that isn’t taking into account how much actual revenue is generated by the labor of one worker over that amount of time. Now take into account that no damages were ever paid to slaves for work injuries they sustained, brutalization they suffered, lives they lost, etc... the real monetary compensation for slavery is much closer to 2 million per person than any 350K.
