I thought the Bengals owner is cheap and they always let their talent leave?
That’s a different conversation as you’re talking about LAST year. This is about what they did at this current point in time. When your franchise QB wants deals done for his top weapons, GM’s and ownership will likely listen.
They lost all their talent like Jesse Bates for following the normal procedure. The fact they are actually paying them is prove they are doing things differently. He is. If they followed normal procedure and lowballed Chase & Higgins Burrow is absolutely demanding to be traded.
Ball in Joe's court now
Don't be mad when that def ain't up to par or u catchin' licks left & right cuz the line. Just gonna have to produce
The concept of keeping your WRs is fine, it's a weapons league. That's why Brady had Evans/Godwin and still pushed for AB, the Rams had Kupp at his peak and still brought in Odell, Eagles have been to two SBs in three years with Brown & Smith, etc - that whole "KC traded Tyreek and still won" argument is silly, they have a legendary HC-QB-DC trio. You can't try and follow what they do.
The issue for Cincinnati was the process, they handled this terribly and severely handcuffed how they navigate building the roster the next few years.
He was a known knucklehead before the draftFolks seem to forget we drafted that Jermaine Burton kid last year and he ain't do shyt. Nikka was getting benched for being late to practice and shyt. Now we can focus our efforts on drafting new blood on defense and the O-line to build them units back up.
Shhhh you're ruining people getting their narratives off.Folks seem to forget we drafted that Jermaine Burton kid last year and he ain't do shyt. Joes problem is situational football. He has issues with putting games away .I can trust Burrow to make offseason improvements.
Since the margins are slim, I'm guessing limiting turnovers.
Just from a passing volume wise its insane he had less than 10 interceptions.
Josh might've won MVP, but Burrow had a better season. [...don't mind Josh winning MVP]
Higgins and Chase signing early in the off-season should lead to a solid start of their season.
