Absolute foolishness to sign Higgins :mjlol:

1- You NEVER pay big money to a #2. Even if he’s Jerry rice, just by simple math he can’t possibly recoup that value

2- WRs are the new RBs. You can draft one and they come hit thr ground running. And that’s even easier when all you need is a #2. See Jordan Addison. The hit rate on 1st round WRs is very high. Even a 2nd rounder too. Plus

2b- When Burrow is your QB and Chase is your #1, it makes it that much easier to hit on a #2 WR. (Again, see Jordan Addison). Imagine Brian Thomas, Ladd, Keon Coleman as your #2. (Luther burden, Egbuka, golden). They’d be literally just as good on offense for 100M less

This is why you don’t let emotion get in thr way of good GM’ing
Is there is factual data that proves this to be true? I don't believe it's been done before to jump to the conclusion.

The Bengals window at a Super Bowl has closed….they gonna be nothing more than a fringe playoff team that gets in as a wild card or eliminated on the last Sunday of the regular season.

Folks seem to forget we drafted that Jermaine Burton kid last year and he ain't do shyt. Nikka was getting benched for being late to practice and shyt. Now we can focus our efforts on drafting new blood on defense and the O-line to build them units back up.

Burton can still turn it around and be a reliable WR.

So long as Burrow is the QB, the Bengals SB window is open

Are we counting the Eagles? If so, it can work if they have someone on the level of Howie building the other elements and a supporting coaching staff that actually coaches.

I actually fukk with it as a different idea to build a winning in the NFL. If their offense can turn the game into a track meet the other offense becomes easier to defend and on the flip side they're never out of a game unless Burrow shyts the bed. This might be the first college style roster build we've seen in forever. They're just trying to score points and hope people keep up and their fans can't complain because the primary folks got paid.

If it works....Eagles
If it doesn't work...Bengals/Dolphins

Burrow and Tua are two different breeds of QB though.

People throw dirt on the Brown family, but they have built some solid contenders in their history even if they're known for being cheap. It ain't like they're the Davis family.

Its more so of the ‘when’.
Like Jerry when they choose to be cheap.

We can’t ignore the time component.

For the dumbasses trying to shyt on Burrow

What if Burrow didn’t blow it at the end of some games? What if he performed better on some big third and fourth downs?

What about that INT against the Ravens? Was that the kickers fault too?

There’s plenty of blame to go around, but Joe Burrow escapes more blame than any QB and I don’t think it’s remotely close. He probably wins MVP this year with the way I’ve been talking about his performance.:pachaha:.

Yeah it's Burrows fault for leading the league in every qb stat but the kicker can't make 2 chip shots. I guess Burrow gotta kick the 30 yard game winner on the last drive too. Or the 4th qtr $ overtime chip shots the kicker missed against the Chargers when Burrow marched him down the field 2x to win the game. And Burrow gotta plan Defense too to stop the other team from scoring TDs. I'f. you don't sit your goofy ass down
