people have moved on? lol if you say so...the draw of supe & bats isnt their box office draw...like i stated: they've never been box office draws like that....with that said: BvS beat every marvel movie except 3...i think that says the people havent moved on like you claim....
Oh what 3 were those? Did they all feature one character in particular or nah? :jbhmm:

Bats and Supes are still draws based on the fact that this movie is the 7th highest grossing Superhero movie with a RT score of 27% and bad word of mouth. Imagine if the RT score was 70% and above, it would probably be top 3. Give any other Superhero movie a 27% score and they would bomb like cray.

Batman is still the most profitable super hero in the world, if you take into account licensing, toys, video games, and other merchandise. By himself he is more of a draw than all of the Avengers. They just need to get Zach Synder away from him.

the desperation is so great, they are trying to downplay the popularity of batman now :deadrose:

I think you need to make the characters and actors playing them more established, well known and likable in the role. Just putting them in a movie together alone isn't enough. Even if the recent movie was a gem I do think 1 billy to 1.5 was the ceiling because this is another new Batman and Cavill is like barely known and not synonymous with Superman. Being characters that people know and like would make a confrontation meaningful.
exactly. i forgot who said it but The Batman coming out before this would have done BvS wonders. it would have helped address the horrible pacing of the movie but also would have connected people more with the characters and would have made the VERSUS more meaningful.

i personally think they should have just kept it as MOS2 and focused on the political aspect and they could have had a great "mature" movie, but they tried to stuff so much into the movie because they are in a rush to make money that they ended up costing themselves hundreds of millions because the final product was mediocre

I said it before I'll say it again

Batman movie should of been next showing what happen to Robin
And the villain for the movie
At the end of the movie show the beginning of bvs with him saving that girl and looking up seeing what superman did to the city and his company and people around dying roll end credits of batman movie

Then do bvs its too damn easy

People really in here now acting like Batman wasn't killing it at the box office as far back as 1989? :russ:

'89 Batman made over $450 million worldwide more than 25 years ago. There are probably at least five blockbusters slated for release this year that studios wish could touch that number.

Inflation is a "what if" :wow:

I hope nobody mentions the fewer amount of screens back in the 90s or you might have an aneurysm

it is a 'what if' cause you're saying if everything stayed the same but the money, which is bullshyt and not really a good judge cause how probable is it everything is gonna stay the same but the money?...exactly...that's why you should just go by what it did, when it did it....which includes money, the number of screens, box office landscape, etc...
