I did think it was weird that Lex actually created logos for every member of the JL :mjlol:

Lex was a graphic designer before he became evil :mjlol:

Lex is truly evil because he had a folder with all the teaser trailers of upcoming DC movies and didn't bother to share. #Batmanisforthepeople

Before this Weekends numbers:

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic: $209,072,793 38.8%
+ Foreign: $329,100,000 61.2%
= Worldwide: $538,172,793

Looks like it's going to crawl to 375-400+ Million Domestic and 1 Billion Worldwide. I doubt Snyder gets fired because they probably believe "Justice League" will do better since that's techincally going to their "Avengers" film. The point of BatsVSupes was to acclerate getting to "Justice League" but I think a Batfleck Solo movie might be fast tracked now. I don't see how anyone can spin this as a failure when it's improving on "Man of Steel" numbers in every way as the 2nd film in the universe. Right now it's sitting at #23 All Time Comic Book Adaptations Domestic:

1 Marvel's The Avengers BV $623,357,910 4,349 $207,438,708 4,349 5/4/12

That was before Friday bruh. It went to 4th place in China yesterday:huhldup:

People are projecting less than $50 mill domestic this weekend with no competition. It looks bad right now.

If they put James Wan on there that would get a lot of people excited, especially internationally.

Also heard China didn't like the tone:aicmon:

I hate to say it but it's a good thing that this will probably be DC's darkest film behind them. The rest of the films have characters that will add some humor. Emphasis on some because I still don't want to see them turn into Marvel. They just need to add some smart comedy here and there.

It just is what is at this point. If you are going to go super dark then your film needs to be damn near perfect (Nolan) or the GA ain't gonna fukk with it as much. No one even fukking remembers what the Thor movies were about but they were received well because people were laughing:aicmon:

:scusthov: this cant be reality

and good point at the end. there is no problem with being the anti-Marvel, but you atleast have to be good. you get no points for being dark when the product is actually lackluster and you try to take shortcuts and slap the audience in the face with emails, pissy editing, and paper thin main characters, amongst other things

There's no spinning that Friday number. Should of least did 20 Million Friday and about 60-70 2nd Weekend. Looking at 50-55 but I do think a lot of demand was burned off from Previews. You take out the preview number and it did about 55 Friday last weekend instead of 81. Again there is no comp so it should be doing better. I think the weekdays was solid but I agree that's too big of drop but still not enough to hurt it from getting closer to 400 Million.

I think it has to gross that. I like James Wan but he's not an actor director, "Fast 7" was his only action movie. Lets see how he does with "Aquaman" first but he did do good with "Fast 7". I think they should go for George Miller since he was working on Justice League before. Some people are even say Ben should direct but I don't know since he's done nothing but dramas. People underestimate how hard it is to do action and make it believeable. Zack is hit or miss so I understand people wanting a change after 2 movies but I think he atleast does "Justice League" part 1. Remember we don't know if WB set him up with a 4 picture deal.

Batman v Superman” has seen its box office scores reduce on a daily basis through the week following its Saturday (March 26) peak of $22.3 million. With a host of new Chinese-language releases ahead of the local holiday — Tomb Sweeping Festival (Qingming) — that meant that exhibitors slashed the number of screens available to “Batman V Superman.”

if you think the suits upstairs are happy with this youre fooling yourself. yes technically they'll be okay because they made money, but thats what this movie was supposed to do. they have the two most iconic characters in american comic history it is SUPPOSED to make more money than everybody else. they added batman to this movie, they added wonder woman, they moved it 2 months ahead of civil war so it had no competition, this was supposed to completely crush the buildings, to be just another successful comic book movie is an L. this was supposed to be THE comic book movie, not just another one. and contrary to DC stans beliefs, people wanted it to be good, why would people be waiting around to shyt on a film with batman in it

DC stans are hilarious. Instead of addressing the flaws in their fave films it's always "B-b-b-but Marvel!!!!" :sas2:
I have no dog in this race. I support both equally. Not really a superhero film fan like that.

It's just funny. AOU boomed at box office and had a lukewarm critical response. All I heard was "but but it made a lot of money", now BvS does the same thing and it's all about the critical response and not about the money it's making.

well it's already been established by @Yo Yo Ma that audiences don't pay attention to the critics, okay.

it's also been established by @Yo Yo Ma that the general audience enjoyed the movie in spite of the critics, okay.

so please, @Yo Yo Ma explain to me why a film event of this magnitude... a movie featuring THEE two biggest superhero properties of all time... a movie seemingly everyone but the critics and coli marvel stans enjoyed... one facing absolutely no competition of any kind at the box office... may struggle to reach a billion dollars in an era where superhero movies are all the rage and even bond films can rake in a billion. a movie that had an opening weekend of damn near half a billi.

what happened????

?????

?????
