I'm downloading this now, but scanning a few of the posts in here I see people weren't feeling it as much as they had hoped. when this movie was 1st announced, the thread on here was everyone like

I was not familiar with the comic, so I went on youtube to see If I could find it and someone had done their own version of the movie, based on the comic. with voiceovers and the comic screenshots. and at the end I was 
the story just wasnt' all that to me. so I never quite got the hype to begin with

I was a Marvel comic book stan. I had a few collections of Batman though. Never read the Killing Joke. So i went into this wide open with no prejudice.
The animation was kinda dull. Not terrible.. but i expected it to be sharper.
The first half with Batgirl was ok. When Batman sonned her i was
after she retired i genuinely thought that was the end of the movie.
Was pleasantly surprised when i had a whole nother portion to go thru.
Overall i would give it a 6 out of 10.

For my money, the batman Barbara romance was unnecessary and didn't do anything for either one of them in the movie.
I mean, could they of set it up another way? Yeah, but compared to all the other Batman movies this shyt was done a helluva lot better than the other movies though. To me, it didn't take anything away from me. I guess cause I literally never read the comics first for any Marvel/DC experience, them adding extra shyt like this wasn't something that made me cringe, I mean I get what your saying that it was unnecessary but it could of been worse.
But the source material wasn't much to add onto and I think they wanted to keep it as close as they could and giving Barbara and Batsy context made sense to me.
Then again, I'm the muthafukka that loved the Angry Birds movie so
