You're stanning for a half assed Batman movie. What makes 89 Batman so great? All you said was it made more money. So whatTim Burton fukked up and made Gotham look like something out of a Stanley Kubrick film. Script was stupid af. He even fukked up and got an R rating, so 80's babies like myself that grew up on the Batman tv show couldn't even watch it or enjoy it. Batman Returns fixed all that mess. Only thing good about that movie was the Joker.

I was 5 when that movie came out idiot. Also I saw Batman Returns first, then watched Batman in the later 90's and never liked it. Too silly of a movie (rated PG-13 not R). shyt was Batman Forever level of silly.

But you could never even put Batman 89' in that bracket because it's not that great of a movie. I terms of Cape movies it could be deemed a classic but if terms of movies in general it really doesn't TDK on the other hand is just a great/ classic movie in general. Even if TDK isn't a bigger classic that Star Wars and Wizard of Oz, all three are still classics in terms of general film.

don't you think that kevin conroy kind of molded his performance after keaton's though? just a bit? his batman voice was a bit "raspy" wasn't it?

prior to keaton i don't recall batman ever sounding like that. the older cartoons had batman and all the other superheroes sounding like a general mills spokespersons.

keaton was the one to give batman that deep tone.

No. Lol and that's just because of my reverence to Conroy but the voice thing aside, he crafted two completely different personas whereas Keaton just had a lower timber of a voice.

So you were only 5 when it came out? That explains a lot. If I was allowed to watch that shyt when I was 5 I probably would have been stanning it too thinking it was the GOAT Batman movie. I saw it after Batman Returns when I was old enough to compare it and see it for what it really was. A garbage ass movie. But a 5 year old would obviously think otherwise.
