I`m all for the arts, but the prices on this shyt is just gaudy ass status symbols.

I've never seen a piece of artwork i`d pay more than $300 for. Call me low-cultured or whatever, i just can't imagine spending much on a painting, it's just a painting at the end of the day.

That was the first thing I wondered. If he didn't have a wife or kids his family should get the money. Sometimes they will say an artist gifted a piece to someone else and they have ownership of it. Anytime someone like Prince dies without a will the legal system starts working shady magic. Still hard to believe Prince didn't have a will when he was so careful about how his music was used and didn't even want people playing it on youtube without him getting paid. He went through all that drama with record labels for years and doesn't make out a will determining who owns his music and money

Cool paintings but Im not seeing anything that makes it better than Basquiat.

Some of yall confuse "coherence" and "realistic paintings" with better which shows a lack of art theory.
