If I'm not mistaken Roosevelt really didn't even wanna go to war in Europe, but had no choice because Germany and Japan had a mutual defense treaty.

The war between the US and Japan was inevitable, whether WW2 was going on or not it had been building up for some time.

Yea you're right, Nazis declared war on the US like a day or week after Pearl Harbor and the US reciprocated but the Germans thought we werent gonna pull up as heavy we did in WW1 since they hadnt really attacked us like the whole Lusitania sinking debacle.

US and Japan was inevitable same way US v Russia and US v China is now. Ironically, the Nazis who were by and large the most evil opposition the US has ever fought head up couldve been avoided completely and it wouldnt have made much difference to the US rising as a great power. American isolationist right wingers didnt even wanna fight them, Eisenhower wanted the Soviets out the paint first

Imperial Japan and their control over Asias shipping routes had to go, its literally the same reason were on that  shyt with the PRC right now even though the Russians are comitting large scale genocide

Imjin was like a 1500's Vietnam if I recall. Kagoshima wasn't a victory for either side. Never knew about the Soviet shyt aint gonna lie, I looked them up and they even say they are mostly forgotten because they were small clashes.

The 2nd Sino Japanese war on the otherhand dog there is a huge elephant in the room named the United States kicking Japan's ass across the pacific at the same time. Before the Japanese attacked the USA, they were kicking the Chinese's ass bruh.
Chinas Army was actually its rebels led by Mao .They offered to defend the country and the government thought it would be a good way to get rid of them.Instead they gained combat experience and became local heroes

They weren’t small clashes. Calling them small clashes would amount to calling Russo-Japan war a small clash. People talk about the Russo-Japan war which Japan won but always want to disregard the 2 that they lost to the Soviets.

How’s the 2nd Sino-Japanese different from a lot of wars in recent times? That’s like saying there is a huge elephant in the room during Korean War since British forces achieved the biggest feat in the war & it wasn’t an American war.

Japan has always had a great navy but its invincibility is overstated. It benefits more from geography - than any type of invincibility. Japan is basically the UK of Asia since it’s a bunch of Islands thus making it extremely difficult for any to invade. And it would require a lot of amphibious landings hence countries don’t try it (think Normandy multiplied by 20).

There’s a reason why the US decided to nuke the country to break them cos invading would millions of American lives. Normandy was a total disaster during world 2 & they had to use human waves. And they weren’t even fighting the best German forces cos Hitler sent almost 90% of them to the eastern front against the Soviets. Without that it would’ve been worse. So, with the disaster in Normandy still fresh in the mind of the US generals - nuke was the better option for Japan to save lives. And not cos Japanese people are some super human being.

Geography is Japan’s biggest strength - they’re not invincible.

you're kinda liberal with some of those losses and you know it lol but i don't disagree with 'no country is invincible'

the asskicking they were getting from the russians never gets brought into the discussion regarding the surrender to the US.

if you have to choose between surrendering to the russians or the americans, you ALWAYS choose the americans word to berlin :hubie:

There are no invincible countries.

Germans are the direct heir to the Vikings in Europe & the best fighting people in modern Europe. Hence it’s a necessity for all Europeans to keep them down & demilitarised.

However, they have the most balkanised empire in Europe & that’s cos they have suffered defeats in wars. Austria, half of Belgium, Kaliningrad, about 1/4 of Poland, half of Switzerland, Luxembourg, Hungary to an extent, etc. Those are German lands that have been balkanised to keep the Germans down. And that happened cos they lost wars.

The largest pre WW1 battle in human history happened during that war bruh. That war alone saw more combatants fighting than the next two between them combined, twice over almost. It's not even a comparison.

I never said they were invincible, but for the most part the Japanese aint been handed no major country altering L's like that pre WW2. Japan damn near turned into a nation of eunuchs after WW2 bruh. :heh:

Less young people enrolling in college due to Covid and costs.

Mandatory JROTC for blacks and Hispanics.

Army loosening requirements to join.

They sent me a text recently asking if I was interested in talking to a recruiter lol.

The 2020s were predicted to be deadly over 10 years ago by historians who follow cycles of violence.

Get ready family.
Imagine training and arming a bunch of anime obsessed, hentai watching weirdos and cutting them loose. A bunch of them getting the battery put tin their back from dudes like Shinzo Abe wanting a revival of the Rising Sun. History isn't so much a circle, as it is a spiral.

It's about to get ugly :francis:

I agree with the second half of your post but the direct heirs to the Vikings are the British. Like quite literally the Angles and Saxons invaded Celtic England, killed off all the Britons up until Wales and Scotland, then the Angles and Saxons united as the Anglo-Saxons, and THEN they were invaded and Conquered by the Danes from Denmark and the Norse from Norway, and finally even FURTHER conquered by the Normans who were a French-Viking mix.

The English are Germanic as fukk and thats why the Scots, Irish and Welsh dont fukk with them like that even though they share a country. So in a sense the British Empire, by extension America (specifically White Anglo-Saxon Protestants) are the direct trueborn heirs to the Vikings and their warlike ways. Why do you think Thor is so popular in this country from the MCU to PlayStation video games to Aryan Nation prison tattoos :mjpls:

I saw a video a couple of weeks ago released by the Chinese military where their soldiers were shooting at targets. Looked like a standard military drill video until someone pointed out that all the shot placements on the targets had "keyhole" shapes where the placement was a slit instead of a round hole Which means, the bullet wasn't travelling in a straight line and tumbled through the air which makes it more likely to miss it's mark and leads to malfunctions in action.

Between Japan and China when it comes to technology, Japan is whooping China all day every day. Their manufacturing capabilities are renowned for quality while the Chinese are out here putting out guns that can't even shoot straight :dead: Not surprising when you remember China routinely manufactures cheap crap, have people who fall through elevators, have people eaten by escalators, have shyt they launch into space fall back to earth uncontrolled, etc..

I'll have to find that video.

Edit : here it is. Also notice it's doing this while they are right on the target. They are doing that because they would fukking miss if they were any further :pachaha:

Where's the money going exactly? I thought Japan wasn't allowed to have a 'standing' military? Article 9 :patrice:

:dead:
They have actually started to build up their military for the past few years now. That was Shinzo Abe's whole thing. Though, this is a significant increase that pretty much signals they have all but given up commitment to their pacifist stance.

Also, the US has been pushing them more to militarize recently. A large motivation of the previous pacification wasn't necessarily due to the US but because the populace enjoyed and preferred it.

No, most English people aren’t Germanic. Majority of the population is still Roman-Celtic mix. The Germanic population are the noble groups hence class is entrenched in British society.

All the Germanic tribes that came from the Angles, to the Saxons, & later Normans weren’t that many in numbers to supplant the indigenous population. They just overthrew the Roman-Celtic ruling class & imposed themselves on the people. They didn’t kill off the people.

Germans on the other hand are fully Germanic.

UK has never had the type of sway within Europe that Germany has had. Germans put the fear of God in other Europeans - from when Prussia was smacking everyone around.

UK’s biggest gift has always been its Navy due to geography. And its might has been more of a global one than European. Europeans don’t fear the UK but they fear Germany. English influence in Europe came with America - not the U.K.
