man never compare this loser to the Joker...even when the Joker lost he still won. :wow:

Batman was on the run, Hardy dead and Gotham was living in fear. Mission accomplished. Joker created more fear in killing a handful of VIPs than Bane/Talia did killing hundreds.

"that's a lovely, lovely voice... :yeshrug:"

:wtf:

bane was a beast in that damn movie. a literal force of nature, in a way that even heath ledger's joker never approached (joker was 1000% more calculating than he let on... why wear grenades to a mob meeting if ur just a dog chasing cars?? why plan out the hit on the mayor if ur an agent of chaos? that said, it was a brilliant layer to the character.). point him in a direction, pull the trigger, watch buildings fall down.

twist could have been better, but it didn't really bother me.

and nikkas always talk that comic shyt. but how many of yall actually read the comics? b/c before suicide squad, you could count the number of good/great bane stories on two fingers.

even knightfall, for all the 20/20 hindsight (aka hype), wasn't a great story until bane squared off with bruce. most of what came before was :childplease:. it just reads better when u look it up on wikipedia. :mjpls:

all that said... joker > bane. that weird ass walk out of the hospital alone >>>>>>

Bane brought Gotham to its knees. Gotham wasn't more fearful of what Bane did than what Joker did? City was a straight lawless no man's land where they drug rich people outta their cribs and held mock trials and killed them. nobody was safe. Joker held some people captive on a boat and killed a bytch. this isn't even mentioning the direct sonning Bane gave Batman. the only reason Bane lost in the end was plot magic requires the hero to win.

Yea and Gotham was nice and peaceful when Joker had his fun :rudy: Joker had everybody packing they bags ready to get the fukk outta Gotham until he told them he had a "surprise" for the bridge and tunnel crowd. Thats the reason he had everybody leaving on boats.

As I said before Bane and his boss Talia just collected Ls while Batman went on vacation at the end of the movie. Joker mentally destroyed everyone that came into contact wit him. His goal wasn't to kill everybody in Gotham, just to cause anarchy which he did. You could use that plot device excuse you just gave Bane for every villan in existence.

This is anarchy a bunch of criminals Bane broke out of jail putting people on mock trials as if they were the actual government because there was no government in Gotham at the time. Bane removed it.

you should look up the word. Joker caused mass panic but Bane caused actual anarchy. people weren't afraid of living in hell they were actually living in it. they would have ran from Bane's Gotham too if they could have got out. they couldn't leave the hell he created.

Joker was guerilla warfare tactics at best.

I know I'm in the minority with this opinion, but I never really felt them new Batman movies like that. They weren't wack or anything though, just good solid films and not the classic epic shyt most cats say they were. I prolly enjoyed the 3rd one the most really due to Bane being such a diabolical badass. I didn't mind the plot twist, it's just that I felt he deserved a more epic death. That shyt just came and went like a blink of the eye. For a dude who practically did everything most villains dream about (damn near bodying the hero and actually taking over the city) he deserved better. He needed some True Lies type final death.

The Joker was cool, but to me he was portrayed more as a trolling pyrotechnic manic cuz they kinda ran his explosion/bombing bit into the ground. Two Face is a dope villain, but he got underused and thrown in at the end on some Venom shyt.

Razul Gul (i know I fukked up his name) was prolly the only villain that was done any justice. He almost succeeded in his plan, burned dude crib down, and got a pretty good death. The thing is he was prolly the least asked for villain to be in a Batman movie.

Yea he did all that and still lost horribly. Joker actually won in losing. His plan was completed to the end. He actually turned both of Gotham's heroes into villains. Batman/Bruce was broken, Gotham was broken and Bane comes in for sloppy seconds.

You acting like Joker is a boyscout and its hard for him to kill. He could have easily blown up that hospital wit everyone in it. He could have killed at will when wanted but that wasn't the point. This dude was sitting on a mountain of money and burned it all cuz that wasn't the point. You don't get it.

its a superhero movie the villain is pretty much required to lose.

Joker just wanted to stir shyt up for his own amusement. Bane systematically brought Gotham to it's knees. you would have been a lot safer in Joker's Gotham than you would have been in Bane's Gotham.

Bane himself beat the shyt out of Bats and threw him in a hole. truthfully we should have never heard from him again but the plot required his back to magically heal and him to climb out of that hole and win.

they really fukked this up. i mean really. bane v batman coulda been one of the best rivalries ever. the fukkin dualities...but no. they have to put this talia bytch

bruce wayne lived a life of luxury as a child. bane had a horrific childhood.

bruce wayne fell into a cave and was rescued by his father.
bane spent his childhood in a cave-prison and rescued himself :wow:

bruce wayne's never killed anyone on purpose
bane caught his first body when he was 8 :wow:

bruce wayne traveled to a chinese prison to understand the underworld
bane escaped from prison to destroy the world above :wow:

that "you adopted the darkness. i was born in it. molded by it. i didnt see the light until i was already a man, and by then, it was nothing to me but blinding" should have been the theme for the entire rivalry/movie.

Wayne's privilege as a child w/ good intentions vs Bane's horrific upbringing with vicious, brutal, yet tactical rage. could have easily been better than the dark knight in my opinion.

:to: they really fukked him up bruhs.

That broad ruined Bane. Ruined him. Although Batman looked like a simp for that whole movie, constantly tricked by females, getting worked TWICE by Bane (He was losing that second fight, he just made it closer, and lucked up on the mask thing), etc.

The Joker is still that dude, though.

Nah.

Batman found Bane's weakness and exploited it. Batman was winning (had won really), until he was shanked by Talia after dropping his guard.
