I guess to keep the movie realistic they excluded the venom which gave Bane his super human strength. In order to make the fight fairer between Batman & Bane, they gave Bats a leg injury which caused him to be a lesser fighter. There is NO WAY that Bane can beat Batman (in the comics) in hand to hand combat without the Venom. My question is...would you rather have seen Bane with the venom in the movie? In other words, would you have rather seen peak Batman vs superhuman strength Bane in The Dark Knight Rises or leave it as is?

Nah.

Batman found Bane's weakness and exploited it. Batman was winning (had won really), until he was shanked by Talia after dropping his guard.

:mjpls: bane was still putting the beats on batman on the second fight just not as bad batman fought better but still was losing till he broke one of his valves otherwise batman would of lost

once batman exposed his weakness and broke it bane was done or batman would of caught his second L without that broken valve

I agree, the plot twist took all his power away plus his death felt rushed

venom is a steroid, steroids are real so does excluding it make it more realistic.
Instead he gives a mask that doesn't make him feel pain, which seems more like a stretch of the imagination. Venom is part of Bane's character having him without it is like having spider-man without his webbing. Somehow he should've implemented it in.

man never compare this loser to the Joker...even when the Joker lost he still won. :wow:

Batman was on the run, Hardy dead and Gotham was living in fear. Mission accomplished. Joker created more fear in killing a handful of VIPs than Bane/Talia did killing hundreds.

actually, joker inadvertently gave 8 YEARS OF PEACE in gotham... nobody was living in fear. :troll:

Exactly. I HATED the 8 year retirement plotline, they should've had Bane fighting Bats in his prime then beating his ass. The first fight should've been a veteran, overconfident Batman (not the shadow of Batman in the film) who is in his prime but still no match for Bane. It should've been Batman in Tyson mode, still nasty as fukk, but Bane is just nastier. Then Bats should've come back in the end on some Muhammed Ali shyt and got Bane tired, then destroyed his shyt. That second fight is horrible. As a matter of fact, I pretty much hate everything that happens in the movie after Bruce gets out of the underground prison :ld:

^^^ I liked that final fight. Bane was brutal as hell, he just wasn't landing much lol... but if it had, Bats would've fallen asleep....

0:18-0:22 showed bane going ham and that wall feeling the power :whew:

That whole scene was :wow:

Honestly banes whole swagger and speeches put him pretty high in favorite movie villain category. I find myself not only looking up his scenes on YouTube often, but saying lines like

"It doesn't matter who we are, what matters is our plan."

"Theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated... but we are initiated, aren't we Bruce?"

"You fight like a younger man, with nothing held back. Admirable but mistaken."

:blessed: he was that dude man
if you find yourself reading the quotes in a bane voice. you already know dude is a top tier bad guy of all time. the quotables :mindblown:
