This ain't the comic books and Batman was tired out before he was able to get away with the shyt he did. In animated shows and beyond, he's good level and that's where it ends. He's not running anything. Talia was the one that was kind of held back in truth...she's supposed to have MUCH more influence over Batman than that.

In the comics bane set up the whole scenario so he was weak and he could get his back broken. And in every incarnation of an animated show he is a boss run ing his own gang. In young justice I believe he had his own island. I can't believe all this revisionist history when it comes to bane.

The disdain/dismissive attitude he had towards the "legend" of Batman during that ass whooping was vicious. Treated him like a civilian. Even with that wonky ending he had Bane was fun to watch/listen to in that movie

That broad ruined Bane. Ruined him. Although Batman looked like a simp for that whole movie, constantly tricked by females, getting worked TWICE by Bane (He was losing that second fight, he just made it closer, and lucked up on the mask thing), etc.

The Joker is still that dude, though.

Bane was a great villain but I didn't like the way he went out at the hands of Catwoman too. But overall I was satisfied by his performance in the film. But no matter what it would have been extremely hard for him to surpass the Joker.

Wherever whores go.....
I watched some Bane scenes in the morning based off the replies in this thread :wow:
Which made me realize why I didnt like the movie overall. Bane was so great in the movie that Batman wasnt for lack of a better word awesome as he usually is

Usually Batman always comes through with some :gladbron: moment of badassness lol
But in this movie he was made to look like a b*tch

You seem to forget that he defeated batman and broke his back. Also it was not Bruce Wayne batman who defeated him the first time. And bane in comics look is based off a lucuadoher.

I know he was defeated by Jean Paul Valley he defeated him much later on in that league of shadows storyline but I'm saying he should have just stayed gone for a long while after that, he turned face and was a has been ever since

he went out like a complete bytch. I'll never forgive Nolan for that. But before the twist I was pure :krs: status. Dude dropped mad quoteables. Tom Hardy is a superb actor. I actually had a nightmare a few nights ago that Bane was after me, I remember walking down a city street and seeing him off in the distance blowing shyt up and coming for me... seriously had me like :to: in the dream

They shoulda just taken Talia out completely and made Bane the boss. Talia was worthless and pretty much just there for no reason. I was actually liking Bane more than Joker before that stupid twist happened.

they really fukked this up. i mean really. bane v batman coulda been one of the best rivalries ever. the fukkin dualities...but no. they have to put this talia bytch

bruce wayne lived a life of luxury as a child. bane had a horrific childhood.

bruce wayne fell into a cave and was rescued by his father.
bane spent his childhood in a cave-prison and rescued himself :wow:

bruce wayne's never killed anyone on purpose
bane caught his first body when he was 8 :wow:

bruce wayne traveled to a chinese prison to understand the underworld
bane escaped from prison to destroy the world above :wow:

that "you adopted the darkness. i was born in it. molded by it. i didnt see the light until i was already a man, and by then, it was nothing to me but blinding" should have been the theme for the entire rivalry/movie.

Wayne's privilege as a child w/ good intentions vs Bane's horrific upbringing with vicious, brutal, yet tactical rage. could have easily been better than the dark knight in my opinion.

:to: they really fukked him up bruhs.

The twist doesn't diminish him at all. The way he went out is what hurts him. I still prefer Bane to The Dark Knight Joker
