I didn't try to access the overworld. Dont know if you can TP from inside a cave or building. I would have to give it a shot.

What does karmic dice do
Sounds like prevent really really bad consecutive rolls
If you get a bunch of good rolls bad rolls start to happen
if you get a bunch of bad rolls good rolls start to happen
I think karmic dice is the default setting
