nikka, you gotta be trolling. When you’ve successfully raised kids through teenaged years, let me know. Until then, go read a book on parenting.
What ever you say. Enjoy....I'm never having kids. So I will never know. But if I did I'd def would respect their emotikns and never disappoint my kids

Queuvalint of a white kid. I would've been mad too if I wanted a PC, but ain't no way in hell that I'd let my mom know

And that’s the whole point…..
Get this slave owner mentality all the way the fukk back.

As a child if I act good and make good grades and don't stress you out and you want to reward me with a gift. You ask me what I want I want...I tell you and then you don't come through when you can afford it...and you ge tmad cause I'm disappointed in you keeping your word and you want me to be grateful?

Thats a loser ass mentality you want to push on your kids.

Be thankful you made it to the championship..even tho you loss. Naw fukk that. I paid for that championship game with blood sweat and sacrifices.

Alot of yall are shytty parents not cuts eof your financial situation..but because yall too fukking narcissistic and practice that slave owner mentality with your children which was passed on from slavery and upheld by the silent generation in to the baby boomers and Gen x.

Fix yall egos and do better

:mjlol: at this entire post

I had a modded 360 during them times, I had to buy games on PS4 which was a new again experience at that time, then the app I use dropped, with a full blown gaming PC as an application back in 2018, I been paying monthly for that shyt since then but downloading a bunch of free shyt. I go on a trip or get a room, my system is in my fire stick 24/7. That shyt dope.

I'm sure he told them a gaming PC on more than one occasion. I'm sure she gave up on putting a gaming PC together and decoded to one stop shop. I blame the parent. Instead of saying, "yea you wanted a gaming PC, but mama was overwhelmed and ya dad ain't help me find and put one together we got you the best home game console. I hope that's OK. Mama tried."

Nope she was pompous as fukk. But yea let's blame the child....smh

Don't fukk with PC masterrace :mjpls:

We do know…. If your kids are talking about win rar in 2023, then I’m pretty sure your entire home network has been compromised to some degree

what you want in life is not always what you get. that is a basic lesson anyone will need to be a well-adjusted adult.

you may want that job - maybe they found a better candidate. do you throw a tantrum or do you look for a new job?
you may want a specific home - if youre outbid do you complain or simply find another home thats viable enough?
you might want steak but your future wife can only make pasta due to whats in the fridge. do you come home and throw it out or eat the damn food?
you may want them new Js but they sold out and the SNEAKRS app aint hit. do you walk outside barefoot, or grab a diff pair of kicks til the next drop

its life. grow up

the ppl saying take the PS5 and tell the kid to kick rocks are correct. if he want a PC, he can put in the work he gotta put in to get one or wait til he old enough then. cause its plenty of kids who want a PC but will still love and accept that PS5 with open arms

Why couldn't you be open and transparent with your children and communicate that the gaming pc was outside the scope of your budget and will take a couple more months of savings (brehs in here saying a gaming pc is less expensive than a PS5) for you to be able to buy it for them?

Yes, teaching your kids that they can't get everything they want in life is a good lesson (not sure this is the best situation to do so since parents typically ask their children what they want for the holidays and typically try to meet those expectations but then to turn around and say tough luck would be immature) but there are other good lessons that could be taught like be open and transparent and imparting in your children the understanding that the acquiring of goods is done by saving and budgeting and that unfortunately it was outside of your budget but that you could work towards getting them what they wanted in the near future.

Instead of letting egos get in the way of your parenting. Egos should not be present in marriage and parenting, if you're doing it right. And most of the reactions in here are ego based "I'm going to put the child in his place", name-calling "ungrateful a$$hole", instead of you self-reflecting on how you didn't meet your child's expectations and how you were not transparent in your communications.
