Aight, first off, the Spaniards didn't kill off the natives, the shyt the Spaniards brought with them did. Smallpox, measels, viral diseases that before we eradicated (and that's something else you dumb smart nikkas are trying to BRING BACK) killed almost 40% of everybody ever infected, with an estimated 50 Million people infected every single year by the 50's, the natives had 0 immiuno suppresant genes to deal with these viruses, because it developed and originated in the Mediterranean. It killed a sizable chunk of the total population before the cacs even got to Tenochtitlan. Millions of people in less than a few months. Smallpox devastated the natives, everywhere that wasn't Europe not just America. Pacific Islanders were caught in several outbreaks in the 16th-18th century. It almost entirely exterminated the aboriginal's in Australia. When the cacs went to Peru a few years after they almost eradicated the Aztec's, the Inca were caught in an epidemic (some, myself among them, believe it was intentionally caused by the Spaniards), their king died, 30% of their population would die over the next decade.
You asked how so many natives would be quickly killed? That's how, smallpox, massive overwork after they were enslaved, and killed over 70 MILLION native Mesoamerican peoples, it's why the European cac kingdoms bartered with African kingdoms and began the pan-atlantic slave trade, because Smallpox broke out in Africa intermittently but didn't have nearly the same destructive effect as it did to native peoples in the rest of the world. So they were seen as a good back upon which to build their empire and loot all the resources from the islands they were now conquering (they managed to build enough of Mexico with the natives before they died off to establish a baseline rule).
The fall of the Mesoamerican empires is a perfect storm of factors that, had the Spaniards landed simply 1-2 years later, or earlier, may have been entirely avoided as the natives would still be plagued by disease, but could have used their full capacity for war to turn against the limited cac forces.
And no, smart nikka, this isn't from a bunch of cacs, this is all things you can easily corroborate from Neo-Incan peoples (who managed to at least survive as a phenotype, culture, and people for the most part) and the descendants of the various tribes along the Yucatan, because, and this shyt will fukking SHOCK you.
