why agree if you got your money though? the suns are going to be the best opportunity to win as well so unless its an unbearable work environment why not stay lol

he has a bit of leverage low key
Because the coach and the pg don't like him and he wants to have the ball a little more. There are real issues between him and Monty, maybe they can come together and move on but until then the Suns just don't respect Ayton's game enough.

He signed to go to Indy because they paid him 30+ mil to go there, doesn’t mean he’ll just accept any trade destination
If a team shows him enough appreciation in wanting him, he will. One of his biggest issues with the Suns is they don't use him right. Even the bad teams have solid foundations. Like if Pistons or Hornets called, Ayton would love to go to that situation even though winning wise it wouldn't be the same as Suns.

i see. ...didnt realize Paul had an issue or even tha tthe monty issue was THAT serious

the Suns believing their own hype too much to be honest...Chris Paul is just a loser and maybe even suffers from somatization

the way he constantly lets his team down or gets injured when it matters is uncanny

I didn't think the Suns would match, but at the end of the day Sarver got what he wanted since before last season to save money on the deal and lux tax hit and Ayton still managed to get paid :manny:

Whats the story behind Monty and Ayton beefing?

Monty spent his whole time in Phoenix little broing Ayton. Always taking shots at him and making little remarks about what he needs to do. I'm pretty sure when Monty first got their he was playing Aaron fukking Baynes over Ayton.

But this all stems from Monty not having the balls to tell Chris Paul to stop being a p*ssy when it matters most and to tell Booker to play actual defense when it matters most. Luka and Brunson were running circles around both to the point that you can see all these gifs and memes of Luka laughing right in booker face while he sonning him, but somehow Ayton is the one Monty tries to clown and take out the game and say he got to play better when they down by 50. Monty trying to paint it as the 23 year old player fault and not the thousand year old point guard fault or the guy you just paid a supermax contract fault.

Classic coach aint got the balls to go out the star players so he going to go at someone else.

Phoenix had to match. He's overpaid but they couldn't let him walk for nothing.

If they don't want to keep him, they should spend the first half of the season showcasing him for potential trades.

Why did Indy offer him that contract?
