Ayton will agree, he got his money

I get that. I'm just saying suns can't trade him anywhere.

Ayton won- He got his money and a soft no trade clause

Suns lost- they're now in the tax

Indiana lost- missed on the player and now 31 million frozen for the next few day's

Its good the Suns matched so now they can get proper value in an Ayton trade without sign and trade restrictions.

Ayton won't be a Sun longer than a year. The Suns gotta be pissed. They basically have to trade Bridges, Cam, and all of their picks to have a chance at KD.

Smart move by the suns, they just wanted lesser years and a lower price tag for him, and if all else fails, trade his ass in January. Saves the franchise $40M. Y’all know this was Sarver cheap ass game plan all along

If I’m Indy, I’m offering a contract to Collin Sexton with the $33M in cap space I got to press the Cavs since they wanna take so damn long with resigning him
Cleveland would just saddle Indiana with another guard they can't find much PT for.

I think Indy is in the rebuilding stage, probably tanking for Wenbanyama. They’re going to trade buddy somewhere, and that opens up a spot for sexton. Turner is expiring, so they def want something for him. The PT is there

When the hell did they make it clear they were keeping him? Shams just be tweeting whatever these players and teams tell him to tweet.

The Suns had the right to match any offer, it’s clear they didn’t wanna pay him the max unless they absolutely had to and let the market bear what it will. Judging by the fact they matched the deal 30 mins after Ayton signed it, nothing Shams tweeted sounds crazy.

They told him to go find a max deal and he found it :manny:
