To be honest, the only issue I had was Quicksilver dying. I really REALLY hate when they kill off characters like that.

Eh, the movie was really underwhelming, though. It's no where near trash or bad, but it fell short. I think the handling of Ultron is too blame.

Yeah your threshold is different. You and I had this discussion before but your level of expectation is different therefore what works for you may not work for me or someone else, which I completely respect.

Depends on the director and what they want to do. You can have someone who wants to treat it like something a tad more serious, like Dark Knight which is more like a crime movie, or you have someone who wants to have it more fun like Guardians but the thing is, that's how comics are. Not all books are the same and have the same tone. Batman is a much different book than Rocket Rac00n just like Amazing Spider-Man is a much different book than Punisher. You try to find the tone that works for that writer and that character and you go from there. I wouldn't want all of the movies to feel the same just like I wouldn't want all of my comics to feel the same, that gets redundant and takes out any fun for me as a viewer/watcher.
