But people were complaining about that, which is exactly what I mean.

Fred.

The people complaining probably never heard of the character or saw him in action before DOFP and expected him to be on that level while Marvel kept him at the level he should be at so he could be a character throughout rather than just making him so OP they have to write him out after 1 scene.

@TheGodling u hyped this up like it was the all-time G.O.A.T. and have the nerve to shyt on Looper!?

I think it was great. Maybe it's because I'm the only one who had realistic expectations but all I wanted was all the good stuff from the first movie and hopefully none of the bad stuff. Which I got, on top of continuously making a statement about superheroes saving bystanders, so altogether, yeah it was awesome. Is it perfect? No, but the good makes up for the bad all day long here.

And of all the movies you could mention, why would you bring up mediocre-ass Looper? Not only is it a random ass comparison, that movie was carried by its concept and not even that much since the whole shyt still fell apart the further it got deeper into its story. At least you could've mentioned something like Guardians Of The Galaxy, which is a more sensible comparison than dumb-ass Looper because at least it's a superhero movie, at least it's better and more enjoyable than weak-ass Looper, so even if I think GotG is barely a decent movie either, I would've happily taken that comparison on instead of stupid-ass Looper.

All which comes down to, fukk shytty-ass Looper, nobody cares about it.

Yeah, and JJ Abrams got hired to do 7 and Josh Trank (until he got fired) was slated to do a spin-off. These new Star Wars movies have been an outright gathering of overblown, overhyped, overrated ass directors all around.

When they went to Africa and Claw shot his gun in the dark, QS caught the bullet and put it on the table at close range. At the beginning of the movie when they said the twins weren't ready to fight it was because they didn't harness the full capabilities of there powers. DOFP QS was born with it.

Even if he did do that tho, catching a handgun bullet would be a lot more feasible than catching a jet's machine gun bullet.

No but this scene is extremely important and it’s why I’m angry at people who say that Steve’s characterization sucked.

Steve is the only one who understands where these two kids come from. Hill is trying to distant Steve from them because right after he says this line she says: ‘’We’re not at war anymore.’’. She’s trying to prove that Steve did the right thing because when the country is at war we all make some hard choices that we are not proud of. In war everything is permitted, and Steve did the right thing because he was doing it for the right cause. Hill is basically saying ‘You did it to protect your country and to save people and to make a difference, but these kids have no excuse for volunteering to these scientists.’

But how does Steve reply to that? To her ‘’We’re not at war anymore’’?

He says ‘’They are.’’

And it is SO important because Steve sees the big picture. For most Americans the war is something ugly that their grandparents had to deal with, something in the distant past that left mark but is also way behind them. But just because there wasn’t a war in America for over 70 years doesn’t mean that other countries have been so lucky. And Steve GET’S IT. It doesn’t mean that he’s not mad. It doesn’t mean that he will not fight them if they’re on the opposing sides. But he knows where they come from. And he won’t let them be reduced to some monsters who let German scientists experiment on them.

Because if Steve was anything but American during WW2, if he wasn’t on the ‘winning team’, he wouldn’t be labeled as hero.

My favourite line of Cap in AOU

Very dope observation there. Yeah, things like this is why Steve/Cap has been my fav. Avenger in the movies, hands down.

I'm also at 2 and I kinda want to see it 1nce more as well. This and Fury Road, I'd like to go to the movies again to see. Perhaps I can schedule a timeframe to movie hop from 1 to the other some time soon. I cannot wait till that director's cut blu ray drops.
