What point is there to cast RDJ as Doom if he's not an alternate Tony Stark?

Brother, I know I made the Denzel statement after walking out of Antman. That movie was so shyt, the writing was such trash and Majors absolutely KILLED IT. How do you put such emotion into such trash writing? It was like he had experienced everything Kang did. Just an incredible talent. Made everyone involved with the film look like Amateurs.

He was getting early oscar buzz for Creed 3 and another movie coming out later that year. I still believe he was gonna be in the Coogler/Jordan vampire movie.
