We just got back and all I can say is Cameron did it again... sheesh. Imax/3D gang.. The visuals were unbelievable. I was stunned from the first minute. The under water scenes were so crazy..

The final hour was a relentless action sequence, that really did feel like a 90s throwback but with GOAT level CGI.

Lowkey, its gonna be hard to watch heavy cgi movies and not compare them to Avatar: The Way of the Water.

Yes, I'd have cut down on the runtime some but thats my only gripe. It had more heartfelt scenes than I was expecting too. I'm starting to like some of the characters.

Visuals 10/10. Action 9.5/10. Story 7.5/10.

Seen it, pretty good, wouldn't rate it higher than the first one, tho keep in mind I hyped the hell out of the first one to the point I drove in a blizzard just to see it.

Also I saw it at Regal and if it ain't Alamo or anything like Alamo, I ain't going there

Just got back.

shyt was dope.

JC was smart to focus on the kids and put the parents in the background for most of the movie.

Absolutely beautiful world, Cameron definitely upgraded everything. The water scenes were better than anything we've seen cg wise.

The climax was pretty fukking dope too, not as grand as part 1 but more intimate. The action was crazy. JC puts these comic book movies to shame with the action and sound effects.

Kind of funny to see him sneak in Titantic 2 tho. Cam thinks he's slick. :russ:

The whale shyt was the heart of the movie tho. JC did a good job of making this flick much more emotional and substantive even tho the plot is still very basic.

Cameron knows sequels. :manny:
