The only good thing that could come from this is getting a director to focus solely on the New Gods and using them to bring about a reboot of the DC Film universe.

She's a world class director now? Hmm...

Selma was a fantastic picture, 13th was eye opening but a documentary, and a wrinkle in time is as unfilmable as a movie gets.

She's not on that Scorsese tier, nor that Nolan or have the body of work of a favreau. but I think she's got the directing chops to prove she can be on that stage if she proves she's the anti-fassbender at picking scripts.
